Property itself is beautiful, however the cracks are showing from age. Staff is great, management is clearly not. Splashes of paint EVERYWHERE - on furniture, plants, walkways because zero care is given during the painting process. I get that it's off season, but I still paid a good amount of money only to discover half the restaurants closed, and the ones open with skeleton crews running them. How do you shut down TWO of the sit down options for renovation at the same time??? Literally were only able to have one non-buffet meal the entire week. Safe in every room in our party was non functional. Doubt very much I will return.

The property was absolutely beautiful. What made this place special was the incredible staff. We arrive for my husband birthday, things wasn’t set up as prior request, however the staff made up for that. Tamika Parke went above and beyond to ensure that our room was set up correctly. She took great care of us and that made it extra special. I can’t leave out Holly Aldridge and Deshane. I also want to say a BIG thank you to Kacey the bell man he was the best. To management these are the kid of people you need to keep. They made the trip extra special.

I actually love everything about our stay. I did have a few concerns: you will not be able to enjoy all the different restaurants provided. On day one everything was booked. This was a total disappointment! The other incident could have been by mistake; we left money on the dresser while enjoying the resort and it was gone after house cleaning. We are only assuming this was taken by mistake.

Beautiful property! Not too many people so very relaxing stay. Nice hotel rooms however many things that were asked to be fixed were not fixed. For example, the shower head broke off night one and was not fixed even after multiple asks. Staff was nice, however seemed more “tip driven” and as if they did not want to have to be nice to us. Best part of the trip was the views, clean beaches, and the food!

We arrived and our room was dirty. We called 4 times for housekeeping in a space of 4 hours. After the last call and while i went looking for cleaning supplies myself, someone finally showed up to clean. She expressed that was the first she heard of it. This was the start of our service and communication problems at the resort. Only 1 pool was available. 1 pool and bar were closed the whole time we were there. It was almost impossible to book any a la cartes. Most nights at least 2 were closed. Other nights, 4 or 5 restos closed. Food at the restaurants were sub par and the buffet had the best tasting and selection of food. None of these closures were communicated to us before our trip. It was very rare to find anyone that truly cared about service and quality. The drinks were terrible and we did not have more than 2 drinks by the pool all week as they were so terrible. Errol at the front bar and Melisia at the breakfast buffet were by far the best employees the resort has and both should be teaching everyone else what customer service is. We will have to contact Grupo Pinero to let them know the full extent of the issues we experienced.

I was apprehensive to book because some of the reviews were bad. But I can assume it’s because it was high season and when a resort this big, is at max; there’s going to be downfalls. We experienced none of that and had the most amazing time. From the bar tenders to the cleaning ladies. They were all very hospitable and welcoming. The entertainment people worked hard to keep us entertained and engaged. The drinks and food were endless and so much. While the beach area on the luxury side is small, you could snorkel and see the wild quite easily near the rocks. I want to throw a special thank you to our bartenders Kamesha and Gary- thank you for watching after our adult children while they were having the time of their lives. We will be back next year, we hope!! Yeah Mon!! Such a beautiful adventure!! And the staff of Bahia made it perfect!! Thank you!!

The property has great potential, but it definitely needs renovations. The rooms felt dated and weren’t very clean, and there was noticeable mold in the shower. The air conditioner also didn’t work well, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. On the positive side, the sea views from the room were absolutely stunning, the staff was very hospitable, and the service was excellent. The food, however, was not the greatest and could use improvement. Overall, I would consider visiting again once the property is renovated because the location and service truly stand out.
