Firstly it was my second time at this hotel group. I went to the other side years ago. Upon arrival I met Holly who showed me to my room she was nice she did very good. Now the next night we went outside to an event came back to the room only to see the lights were off in the room and it smells like bleach and not much cleaning cause we still had used towels in the room. Housekeeping was done at night which was never made clear to us upon checking in. Now the supervisor or who ever she was her name was Carla she told me its something they do after I went to the front desk to complain. She didn't even apologise for the lack of information instead she brushed off the issue and was only asking me if I will continue with the service. Just because she heard my Jamaican accent. Now the front desk person didn't even give me a card to collect towels from the pool I had to go get one. The elevator was not working at one point and we stayed on the 3rd floor. Not to mention the guest parking was so far it was like driving down to discovery bay and if you didn't have the cart services available after 12midnight you had to be walking a good 15mins to get to your room. It was very dusty and rocky my feet would end up white because of the dirty. Total turn off. It was so noisy the last two days because they were fixing something somewhere and again no one cared to let the guest know that they would be working on another room. I couldn't even sleep those times because of the noise.

The bell hops and bartenders were the most friendliest staff we encountered. Having stayed at BP in Punta Cana I was expecting the food to be just as good but it wasnt. Options were present but it wasnt as tasteful as you would expect being served in Jamaica. The room furnishing still give old furniture vibes. We were placed in a wrong room the first night but the corrected it and placed us in a room with two beds the nexr day. The beds were low and one side I was unable to sit on without the whole mattress moving up. It was as if it was placed off centered on the bed. For this to be a luxury establishment in order to secure the sliding door there is a long pin that goes into a whole in the middle that goes through both doors to lock it as there isnt a lock on the screen door. The room gets hot no matter how low you set the temp it will stop and the room will get super hot throughout the night. The patio was a nice size but the patio table had a large burn on it from cigarettes im assuming.

Loved the resort, loved being on the adults only side but having access to the perks on the family side. They are constantly cleaning/pressure washing, or painting/updating. Staff was mostly extremely friendly. The App is useless, wish that got updated so you could do things like make dinner reservations and see the map or menus instead of having to go to separate websites for that. Overall, Jamaica is paradise and bahia luxury was worth every penny, would return.

The beach is a manmade cove but I loved how tranquil it was, there are fishes swimming around!

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your resort, which began on June 28,2025. My friends and I selected your property based on online materials that promoted an upscale, vibrant, adults-only experience — but the reality was far from what was promised. The misleading information, poor accommodations, and unacceptable conditions we encountered. We were advised that check-in would be at 3 PM. Upon arriving at 12 PM, we were offered an upgrade to a luxury ocean-view room. We accepted, only to be told the room wouldn’t be ready until approximately 4:30 PM. The room, (costing an additional $280) while technically facing the ocean, was located at the furthest point of the resort and also overlooked a row of poverty-stricken houses with dogs barking loudly at all hours. Fires nearby caused thick smoke to blow directly into our room throughout our stay, making it difficult to enjoy the space. Adding to the inconvenience, we were placed on the fourth floor and the elevator was out of order. This was especially frustrating during check-out, having to navigate stairs with luggage. Despite paying for the “luxury” side of the resort, every restaurant was located on the family side, requiring long walks back and forth. The luxury side had no added value — no exclusive restaurants, no nightlife, and certainly no peace, as we constantly had to enter crowded areas filled with families and children. They also have cockroaches .review cut short.

This was a very tough review to do for a couple reasons. There were a lot of great things with the resort and also some pretty bad things. The pros: Beautiful Room/view A lot to do on the resort property A good selection of restaurants (despite some repeat or subpar dishes) Mostly friendly staff The cons: Terrible room service (we had to call multiple times anytime we ordered from room service, and sometimes we wouldn't get service at all) Poor facilities - the elevators were constantly broken down and half working Unprofessional staff - despite being mostly friendly, some were kind of rude but most of them were very unprofessional, goofing off with each other in front of the guests and overall overly relaxed attitude around the guests that should not be found at most 5 star resorts

Food was great. Property compared to other places I’ve stayed it’s mid. The room service food was cold everytime it showed up. I don’t understand why they ask what or if we are celebrating anything because they did little to nothing. Then they tried to sell us on the priority club membership. The room upgrade wasn’t anything special it was the same room I was already in. I didn’t see the perks of that. Staying on the luxury side but still was around kids. Half the restaurants are on the family side. Honestly the hotel should just convert to a family hotel. The adults only wasn’t giving what needed to be gave. 3/5 overall experience.
