I love everything about the resort.the food was amazing I love the hospitality there too. my only complaint would be the outside noise it made it impossible to sleep in the morning since I can hear everyone outside running their mouth I wish they would do something about that .I would definitely recommend it

Unfortunately my stay at this Bahia compared to others was a complete headache from check in to check out. My room wasn't ready until 4p and even then I had to be moved to a different room in order to get into my room by 4p. The in room safe did not work. The bathroom shower drain was clogged. It took me two trips to the front counter in two days to have it unclogged. Visiting the customer service counter requires almost an hour or more wait most of the time to ask anything and even then the help you get is almost like you have to pull a tooth to get any good service. The workers there seem very unhappy and most lack knowledge of where anything is. The buffet staff is ok, but when food runs out it takes forever for them to refill it. The pools are nice and the beach is ok. But the amount of headache that I went through for the basics was a complete turn off for my desire to ever stay at this Bahia again.

Hotel and location was beautiful but accommodations were lacking and front desk staff were not helpful. Telephone in my room did not work and was never fixed and all requests for bath towels and wash clothes went unanswered. Room fridge was also not stocked daily after the 1st day of our stay. I was always told that Jamaica was a fun place to be. If you are a white American, you will be ignored and be invisible to all staff at the pool, restaurants, everywhere. There was a fight at the pool while people were playing water polo. I felt unsafe at the pool and in my room. Not friendly people at the resort. On an excursion, we were stuck on the tour bus for 4 hours on the way back to our resort because of a crime scene. There was a shooting of a taxi driver in the middle of the street on the way back. We sat at the yellow tape for hours trying to get back. The shooter was on the run. And we were in the middle of it all. We were scared to death. And felt very unsafe.

This was my third visit to Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica, and unfortunately, it will be my last. The quality has significantly declined compared to my previous stays. Drinks: The Piña Colada was awful—made in a machine, then alcohol is added afterward. It tasted nothing like a real Piña Colada. Overall, the drinks were a huge letdown for an all-inclusive resort. Mini Bar: Extremely underwhelming—only a large bottle of water, three small sodas, and two Red Stripe beers. That’s it. I’ve stayed at other all-inclusives, and this is by far the most poorly stocked mini bar I’ve encountered. Dining: I was shocked to be told that during my 4-night stay, I could only dine at 2 à la carte restaurants. The rest of the time, it was the buffet. I go to an all-inclusive resort to be served and enjoy variety—not to eat at the buffet every night. Also, they police what you wear to the dining room, which felt unnecessary and overly strict. Entertainment: There was no entertainment at all during this visit. This was especially disappointing because during my last two visits, the entertainment was on fire and one of the highlights of the stay. Overall, I’m giving my stay 3 stars, mostly because of nostalgia from past visits. But this time, the drink quality, dining restrictions, lack of entertainment, and overall drop in service have completely turned me off. I won’t be returning.

This property was ok the alcohol choices were was horrible to get top shelf they wanted you to pay cash. Breakfast was the best meal because the buffet food for lunch and dinner was horrible. There was no mini bar just one bottle of water 3 sodas and 2 cans of beer. You could only eat at the resort restaurants when reservations was made. Our room didn’t have towels and wash cloths had to call about that. The drive to this property was over and hour ride and to make matters worst we had to wait and hour for the ride to pick us up. To make the trip worse we was in an accident going back to the airport today.

the good - my 7yr old love the kid water park, the common area were clean. most of the service people were super nice The Bad - we waited 2 hours to get our room even though we did not arrive until 3:45 in the afternoon. the front desk lady told us our room is not ready so go get some food, but she did not tell us where to go to get food as the restaurants is not open until 6pm and we were not able to find any food other then drinks. We could not find the 24hr snack bar that the resort said they have online. We asked for extra blanket for the sofa bed 3 times and they keep telling us that some one will bring it but never got it. The air conditioner in our room make loud noises and felt like i was sleeping on a motor boat and the front desk said they can't do anything about it when i complaint.

All the buffet foods were the same by the end of the week you were tired of it. The reservation dinners were too long of a process. Pool closes at 7:00. Our elevator was down for 3 days & it’s awful climbing all the stairs when you are on an upper floor.
