This hotel is a true hidden gem which offers the perfect environment for a restorative experience, away from the hectic tourism of Cinque Terre. We look forward to visiting again soon.

A must for the discerning traveller. The staff at Villa Edera went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The bedroom very comfortable and the pool area extremely welcome. Very convenient for the train station for links to Cinque terre, Portofino etc. Highly recommended.

A beautiful, boutique hotel, with excellent facilities. Wonderful doing experiences with a clear focus of field to table. Lots of ingredients (including the wine) is grown by the hotel, in the surrounding area. Weather wasn’t great during our stay, but it didn’t dilute the beauty of the location, or the area, and the hotel put on a free pesto making demonstration (with wine!) as ‘compensation’ for the bad weather. It didn’t stop us from going in the pool either! Although we are wild swimmers from the UK… The hotel staff were super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend booking here for your stay in Cinque Terre!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Edera, all the staff were so lovely and welcoming! Both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious, we sadly missed the Michelin restaurant opening times and couldn’t squeeze in a wine tasting - but all the more reason to return! We will definitely be recommending this hotel to family and friends, conveniently located to get to the Cinque Terre quickly and easily & the trains are very easy to use - the station is close to the hotel with a conveniently located lift straight up to the entrance! We would definitely love to return as we got engaged on this trip so the hotel now has a special meaning for us too.

A Wonderful Hotel

This is a wonderful hotel with a Michelin rated restaurant and other fine amenities. Our room was comfortable and had a nice balcony overlooking the adjacent hills and countryside. It's also conveniently located to the train station and is only a ten minute walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The property is beautiful and our room was very large with many amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very convenient to get to the beach and to travel by train to the various Cinque Terre cities. The surrounding area is beautiful and you must try the Michelin star restaurant experience. Absolutely top quality and service and we highly recommend Hotel Villa Edera to anytime visiting the area. Enjoy!

Elegant and Restful Stay

Nice staff, extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is on lovely grounds with olive trees and wine vineyards. Breakfast was provided with many healthy tasty options, along with fresh pastries. We only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed several.

Wir waren für 9 Nächte in diesem wunderschönen Hotel und wären am liebsten gar nicht mehr gegangen. Die Hotelanlage selbst ist vor Ort noch schöner als von den ganzen Bildern erwartet. Jedes Zimmer ist individuell gestaltet und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Außenanlage ist gepflegt und schmiegt sich perfekt in den Berg. Dadurch dass das Hotel nur für Erwachsene ist, hatten wir hier Erholung pur inmitten der Natur und konnten am schönen Pool inkl. Service entspannen. Alles ist sehr nachhaltig ausgerichtet, was sich auch in den eigenen sechs Gärten für Kräuter, Gemüse, etc. widerspiegelt. Die Zutaten für die Restaurants entstammen auch dem eigenen Anbau. Das Frühstück war entsprechend super lecker. Wer die Chance hat, einen Abend im zum Hotel gehörenden Sterne-Restaurant zu verbringen, sollte dies unbedingt tun. Es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis für alle Sinne. Die Lage des Hotels war für uns perfekt, da Moneglia ein perfekter Ort zum entspannen und erholen ist, da er nicht so touristisch ist wie die umgebenden Städte. Er ist jedoch ein super Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge, da z.B. Portofino, Genua, Carrara oder St. Margharita de Ligure mit Auto oder Zug schnell und einfach zu erreichen sind. Das Hotel bietet hierfür eine ausreichende Zahl an Parkplätzen und der Bahnhof von Moneglia ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Das gesamte Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Hotel Freunden und Familie weiter!
