Business stay with kids

The lay out of the rooms were very nice for our young family. We loved having a kitchenette since we had to stay in town for several days with a toddler. The silverware in the room claimed to be clean, but wasn't. We were able to wash them ourselves so it wasn't anything to complain about. The pillows for the pull out couch were also dirty and yellowed, but we brought our own bedding for the kids. Though we wish the cleaning could have been a little more detailed we were able to fix the issues we had in our room ourselves. All the staff we met were extremely nice and the location was great for us. The lady that was taking care of the breakfast area did a great job keeping things there clean and fresh so that was perfect for grab and go food.

AC wouldn’t get below 74 degrees in our room. We asked for a new one- the moved us without question, which was nice. Everyone was super nice and helpful. But very frustrating traveling with a baby and having to move rooms after you’ve unloaded everything. New room was much cooler, but the shower/bathroom had hair in it- pretty gross. The sink/water has a strange smell, but it may just be the location? Just disappointing for a Home2Suites. Never had these problems at any other locations. The staff was very nice though.

Near shopping, clean room, quiet, near the highway. Breakfast was decent, changed daily, little heavy on the carb side. One elevator was out of service which made waiting on the elevator during busy times a little long. Very cordial staff.

We arrived around 11:30 pm. The front desk attendant (obese African-American) didn’t introduce himself and didn’t have an inviting attitude because he was busy speaking with a young girl about a schedule. Finally, He checked us in. I addressed my concerns that the lobby was out of paper towels and the soap dispenser was empty. He said it was fine when he used it. Also I needed extra sheets and wash cloth. He said we had enough for two occupants, but I told him I registered 3 occupants, he said his screen shows 2 on the reservation. I showed him my confirmation email listed three. I had reservations in the past at this hotel without any issues. Thank you!
