My recent stay at the Royal Sonesta in Minnesota a few days ago was unfortunately quite underwhelming for the price paid. While the hotel's location was certainly convenient for my purposes, the overall experience did not justify the full value. I found the amenities to be surprisingly lacking, especially considering the Sonesta brand and the nightly rate. For example, there was no in-room coffee service, no complimentary breakfast, and checking in took a long time. This significantly detracted from the comfort and convenience I anticipate from a hotel of this caliber. Furthermore, the service was consistently poor. I encountered long waits at the front desk. Such issues made simple tasks frustrating and did not reflect the level of hospitality I would expect. While the location was a definite positive, the combination of absent/substandard amenities and poor service made it clear that the property did not live up to the premium charged. I am writing in the hope that you will review my reservation and consider a partial refund or reduced rate to reflect the actual value of my stay. I can provide further details if needed

Maybe they keep the not so great rooms for Expedia customers? It looked NOTHING like any of the reviews I read and I read a lot. The view?…a wall. No natural light. Dark all day. Dirty. Like the room hadn’t been used in a while. Bar / restaurant was fine. No room service. Location was central. Would not stay again.

Hotel was very clean. It was extremely close to the baseball park where we were going and there were a lot of options around us so we paid for parking but could walk around easily. Parking was easy with garage attached to the hotel. Only negative was when I checked in and asked for my $15 promo money as a silver member the check in person was a little rude about it. Not a big deal just the only negative

Property is walkable to Ballpark for Baseball. Was very loud outside with sirens and traffic… Room next door last evening had a room party / nightclub atmosphere going at 1230am. Called Front Desk to address. Took well over 30 mins for it to be shut down. Disruptive evening

The parking was under new system and the gate was not workinging coorectly but did not get notify until I get stucked at the gate gor about 20 minutes and walked up to the counter then found out.
