Good value, clean rooms, great location

The location was perfect for a UMN campus visit with my child and for exploring Minneapolis. The staff was friendly and efficient, the pool was clean and well taken care of, and our room was spotless. Would stay here again.

Room itself was nice and spacious and in relatively good order. Unfortunately, when booking through Expedia, you have to look to discover that it’s gonna cost you $25 a night plus fees and tax to park your car on site they advertise there is an underground parking, but there are very few spaces and once those are full, you have to park a half a block away in overflow parking. Parking cost is not included in the cost of the room and you still pay the 25+ dollars even if you have to park in overflow. Also, the breakfast was fair at Best and was often not well stocked and very messy area often had to wait for them to bring out fresh food when the food or coffee was gone they were not quick about it

Would not have bothered me to pay for parking but had to pay them, then didn’t even get to park anywhere near the property. The car place was ok, but I would not book at this location again. Next time I would rather make the extra drive time, and stay at the place we normally book at.

The convection oven that they give you didnt work. At the end, I couldnt cook anything for my long stay. Had to use only the microwave. Other than this, the hotel was wonderful.

The people across the hall were screaming all hours of the night banging doors. The breakfast was mediocre and was basically the same thing every day with zero options. There was hardly ever someone at the front desk always had to go the other side.

During breakfast time I felt disrespected when I tried to make waffles for six people. The pool is so small, there was bunch of teenagers or older kids jumping in the pool and splashing everywhere. The A/C unit did not cool down the room. Room was warm the whole time.
