Great weekend getaway for baseball games!

Staff receptionist was amazing, asked me for my preference on room since I had reserved several weeks in advance! Great location, right across the street from Mall of America and easy access to many highways in the area.

The stay was okay. Our biggest issue with the room was the AC did not work so it was warm at night when we tried to sleep. The rooms were okay, not dirty but you could tell it could use a really good cleaning and the pillows were like pancakes. We were only there a short time so I didn't make a big deal of it. The 2nd night we were there we heard gun fire around 5 in the morning. When we looked out, there were people shooting at each other in cars by the restautrant in the parking lot outside the hotel. We were on the 5th floor thank goodness but I did not feel safe at all after witnesses a gun fight. They say you get what you pay for and in this case, we should have spent a little more and stayed at the marriot on the other side of the mall.
