Room was very nice! The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and inviting. The parking lot is viewable from the room and theres security which adds peace of mind. I really enjoyed my stay 5 stars!
We were placed in a room that had 24/7 loud music outside. When we complained we were told they know that they have a legal battle with the city over it. The next day, after not sleeping for 2 days, we asked to move rooms and the front desk person was very rude and tried to refuse to move us because we booked with hotels.com. Will not stay at this hotel again. They should not be able to sell rooms that they know will keep guests awake all night with loud music outside the window.
The front desk people are fantastic. I was upset about the increase in parking fees to stay in the parking lot from last month!! My son needed to park in the lot for 2 hours while we went to the game and I was charged another $25. I am a consistent customer and would have appreciated a discounted rate.
I liked that the rooms are pretty decent in terms of size, that's about it. Overall the parking situation is very expensive at $25/night, across the street is a soup kitchen and what I think is some sort of bus terminal where many homeless congregate, and let me tell you, they can get pretty loud. Besides a gym, there are no other amenities. It's the type of place where you just book a bed to sleep in and promptly leave in the morning and comeback later if you do not want to go stir-crazy. Finally, I had a couple issues and the staff was unrelenting, unyielding, and visibly very rude (I'm looking at you eyebrows) - beware.
Stayed in the cities for my sisters birthday weekend. It was a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. Super friendly staff. Only thing I would complain about is how hard it is to figure out how to get to their parking lot. Maybe it was just me but the GPS does not do a good job getting you there. I went around the building multiple times trying to figure out how to get in. But I do not blame that on the hotel. I would stay there again!

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Dangerous experience!!
Horrible stay! When we checked in and got our key we went to our room to open the door to a man sleeping in the bed. When we went down to the desk the woman working was horribly rude and refused to acknowledge the safety concern that just happened for everyone. Her response to the man in the room was that she would print him a new key and he would be fine. She was adamant that she would only print us one key and would only speak with me as I made the reservation so everything was “fixed” and there were no concerns. She couldn’t understand how absurd this was. Her only offer was to go check a new room to make sure no one was in it. Again so absurd! She then got in the elevator ahead of us and closed the door in our face leaving us standing there. She returned to assure us there was no one in the new room (should this need to be said?) and yelled at us for not following though she never told us the new room and closed the elevator in our face. I called hotels.com to complain but the customer service would only speak to the desk person who said there was no problem. She refused to let me tell her what happened. When I asked to speak to a supervisor she hung up on me. It should be noted that I was traveling with my 86 year old mother who was exhausted and having surgery the next day. We definitely will not be using hotels.com again or ever staying at Cambria downtown Minneapolis!!!
I loved the hotel and loved the restroom it was very well designed and very clean and a 5 star experience all around. I will definitely recommend it and also be staying there again.
There were plenty of things that made the stay here not pleasurable. First and foremost, the music that blasts at 7am from the Target Field. Apparently Target Field plays very very loud music early in the morning to keep out homeless people. This will last for hours, so plan on waking up early. Second, to watch TV you need to have the lights on.Third, there is no continental breakfast. Fourth, they were all out of soap and shampoo in the showers.
The good: it's clean.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Likes: The staff was fine. Very welcoming. I do like the text interaction. The replies were almost instantaneous. Addressing a burned out light buld was handled very well. Cleaning staff respected privacy well. They were cleaning outside my room, didn't hear a thing when I wanted to sleep in. Didn't realize they were there when I opened the door to leave out
Dislikes: Parking, I don't remember seeing a notice of extra parking fees. Another inconvenience finding parking when the hotel was filled. Lot was full 2 nights amd I had to wait for someone to leave to get a space. It's not fair to charge for parking when there's barely anywhere to park. Signage to find the hotel's lot would help too.
My shower door. The door refused to stay closed while I was showering and I had to stuff a towel in between the doors to hold it shut until. done. Otherwise water got all over the floor. Slip hazard.
