Easy access for business travel, online check-in was quick. Breakfast is good and staff are accommodating. Room clean and comfortable. A few too many squeaky floor boards would be my only gripe!

I was disappointed. Having stayed here many times, it was a first choice. Our room was not cleaned. We had personally told the man who was cleaning the rooms. We came back late and our Ron was a mess. We wanted to shower and had no clean towels. Tea bags and milk was not replaced. On top of this thete was an issue with the card and when we put into holder for lighting, the lights were bit working.. This trip turned out to be disappointing.

Need to train the woman on the service desk to have some manners. Our room was meant to be a twin, got to the room and it was lovely but just 1 big bed. I asked the lady if she could help and her first response was can you not just split it. Very rude. She came back 2 mins later and said it will be sorted but we dont know when. Good job we was off out and not wanting to chill in the room. When we got back it was sorted but i cant never forget her response. :(

One night couple stay.

Location is good for the nearby golf club. The room was dirty, from the bed sheets to lights, bathroom and stains on the cushions. The room ketttle had a layer of some brown substance. Thankfully we just stayed one night. We did have dinner in the restaurant before inspecting the room and the dinner was okay.

I stayed here for 4 nights over New year in a prestige room. I do not recommend. The reception, bar and restaurant looked modern, new and pretty clean. When I got to the room, there was only 1 chair (should have been space for 2 to sit, and then I also noticed a dangerous half fallen shelf in the bathroom, which could have caused injury. The room we changed to had more furniture (like a place for 2 people to sit instead of just one) but unfortunately also had a sunken/damaged mattress, old food on the floor, no soap and the coffee machine was out of order and stank (previous occupants seemed to have added milk to the water reservoir instead of water, which had gone off inside the machine!). All these things were found out gradually. The prestige room came with included items from the minibar; a KitKat, a mars bar and 2 miniature cans of coke. Which to say that it was a bit of a let down with what was expected would be na understatement. (Expedia booking Photo suggests wine compared to a standard or deluxe room). I would never think of a mars bar as the pinnacle of prestige. Summary: The breakfast was pretty good (3.5/5). The reception and bar staff were good (4.5/5). I requested a mattress encasement and did get this, so that was good. However the room was just awful and not worth the price considering the quality of the experience. (1.5/5)

We booked a standard room, but none available when we arrived so we were upgraded.we were told there was a fridge, but this did not work so one was brought to us from reception - we were supplying the wine for lunch so needed it cold!
