It's also just a 1-hour drive to Bar Harbor and the main entrance to Acadia National Park, or 45 minutes to the quieter Schoodic Peninsula and Winter Harbor side of the park. Whether you're hiking, sightseeing, or relaxing by the fire pit, this home is your launchpad for experiencing Maine's spectacular Down East coast. This is a beautiful and quiet location. It was cozy, clean, and had the simple essentials that were needed to cook, enjoy fires, and clean up after ourselves. Everything was easy to find and the host was communicative!
