First hostel experience! I felt super safe travelling alone as a female. Coded entrance for elevators and individual rooms. Unlucky to have a loud snorer in the bunk below me but they provided ear plugs in advance. Bring a lock as they have lockers in the room for your belongings. Super happy with my stay right by milani centrale

The biggest disappointment was the lack of alignment among the check-in staff regarding my special request. On Feb 9, I informed two staff members at the counter that I did not need breakfast take-out on Feb 10 early morning, but I requested breakfast take-out ready by 5:30am on Feb 14. However, when I checked out on Feb 14, the Spanish-speaking-only staff member was unaware of my request and said I could receive a refund of the €8 breakfast instead. From my understanding, breakfast is non-refundable, which was why take-out was offered. I have contacted the hostel via Expedia message but have not received any response. In the end, I paid for breakfast but did not receive it. The room itself was acceptable, but the walls were thin. On Feb 12, a group of guests next door were partying loudly for about 30 minutes late at night. Fortunately, I was very tired and eventually fell asleep, but it was disruptive. Some staff were kind, but one cleaning lady was consistently impolite. When I asked questions, she would respond “I don’t understand” in Italian in a rude tone. Even when I used a translation app, she dismissed it and continued listening to music with her earbuds. My Spanish-speaking roommate also confirmed she was not polite in Spanish. Additionally, she did not properly check towels left by previous guests and cleaning quality was inconsistent. On one occasion, I had to ask the manager to arrange re-cleaning. The room was very spacious and clean. Overall ambience is "up-scale, hipster hostel". The location is amazing - walkable from just about anywhere in the city, and close to Metro and trains/buses to multiple airports. The staff very responsive. Even for a family ready for an adventure, it's perfect for a night or two in Milan.

Siento que la ubicación no es la mejor, se me hizo un poco lejos del centro, además no se me hizo seguro salir de noche. En el hostel había una persona aparentemente drogada en el área común, parecía que tenía metido fentanilo, y nadie hizo nada, no me sentí segura en este hostel por esas razones. La limpieza bien. En recepción no me explicaron nada sobre las amenidades, solo me dieron las llaves. Pero lo que más destaco es la seguridad, es el único hostel en donde no me sentí segura del todo.

Ostello Bello offers what you needs for accommodation, close to the train station and easily accessible. The room was clean, but as the room was facing the main street, it does get noisy. The lockers in the rooms only work with a luggage lock (i.e. thin and easily breakable locks) and not a standard and more secure padlock. This was disappointing, but they will hold onto your valuables in case or offer to sell you a lock instead. This should be noted somewhere online.

Very convenient hotel close to Milan Central Station. Aimed at a young crowd but also suitable for young at heart! Good vibe in the lobby and bar area. Service was very helpful and polite. Even a welcome drink at the bar. Very good for a short layover and very good value for money.

The service was very courteous, a 3-minute walk from the train station, very convenient. I stayed at the Ostello in Florence and I don't know if it's an isolated case, but in Milan, the room wasn't that perfect clean. I think it's important to pull out the boxes to clean underneath sometimes too. The atmosphere and entertainment are there, it's great for socializing. My requests were well heard and taken into account. Very good staff.
