Ad said a few steps to the Duomo about 3000 but you really do not want to be any closer. City noises during the night. Time to change the mattresses. Overall not a bad place.

Excellent location easy acess to two metro stations and tram stops. Walking distance to Duomo & Castle and shopping centre. We would definitely use this property again.

The location was good to walk to shopping and the Cathedral but was sad to see graffiti around the entrance to the building where we were staying. Felt unsafe. Difficultly unlocking the door to get in and out of the unit. Several locks to work with. Also no towels upon arrival which were wanted after a long day of travel. We did appreciate several bottles of water, coffee and a/c.

Great location, however.. The first day we arrived, the weather outside was sunny and hot, and the apartment was humid and hot. We tried to adjust the thermostat, but the apartment did not cool down. It was late night when we realized the thermostat was useless. So I sent a message to the property manager on WhatsApp about the room temperature, and his "professional" response to our request was: "good morning, the ac is not active is already turned off by the building. there are less than 20 degress outside so is very cool dear. not hot at all". Sorry but we're not sleeping outside and neither are you staying in the apartment to tell us if it's hot or not.. There's no ventilation in the apartment (seems blocked and painted over), the portable fans and AC creating more heat than cooling which made us sick, and the drain from one of bathroom showers is almost blocked, something the maintenance should have checked before renting. We had to check out a night earlier because in terms of comfort, the condition was terrible.

Property was clean inside, a lot of space for a family of 4. Very close to the Duomo. Outside was a little sketchy, but overall we were safe during our stay.

This property listing was misleading. It was extremely crucial for me to stay 2-3 minutes walking distance from the Duomo in Milan, as there were many options within this walking distance. Upon booking this listing with dates and area of preference, it showed this property was 2 minutes walking distance to the Piazza del Duomo so I booked it. Once I arrived, I noticed the Piazza del Duomo was a 13 minute walk from the apartment. This was frustrating, as hotels and apartments located 13-15 minute walk from the Duomo are a lot cheaper and also many more choices available! This apartment is part of a company that apparently owns several apartments in random buildings. This building in which this apartment we stayed was not nice. But that’s not the reason for this review. I reached out to the host, and host advised me I didn’t change the dates in the listing before I reserved as changing the dates changes locations, however that doesn’t make sense as in Expedia you first choose your dates for your stay and then your listing shows up for reservation, with no other options to change your dates a second time in the listing. I even have a screen shot of my purchase with listing details. This company scammed me. I’ve never in 15 plus years of using Expedia had any issues. The host didn’t offer to correct this issue. This is very sad and unacceptable as people put their trust in what they purchase for their vacation stay.
