This hotel was a lovely surprise. Despite the unpromising exterior, the hotel’s interior was stylish and inviting. The staff was great. The restaurant was also quite good. Tasty well prepared dishes and excellent service.

Airport shuttle was a disaster

I booked this hotel mainly for its proximity to the airport and the free shuttle. The airport shuttle was truly abysmal. As instructed, we called from the airport. The desk clerk told us the location, what time it would stop by (only every half an hour, despite an email saying they would send it when we arrived), and its appearance. After a 20 min wait, the correct van appears. We wave, but it zips by us. We shout and try to chase it, but other vans and luggage are between it and us, and it barely slows before pulling away, turning down a ramp, and disappearing. Another woman was also trying to catch it. She immediately called the desk, which took three tries even to pick up, and asked it to be sent back for us. It never happened until the regular pickup over half an hour later, when it almost left without us again. The driver was on the phone the whole trip. He almost did the same thing to a guy at the other terminal (who had no big suitcase and was a much better sprinter than I am, so he managed to get on. You shouldn't need to sprint to get an airport shuttle). After wasting more than an hour waiting for a 9-minute drive, we had a lot less time to sleep than we wanted before our early-morning flight the next day. Talk about frustrating! To complete the evening, we couldn't get any hot water to work for a shower. We were so tired we didn't even call the desk to complain- it hadn't helped before.

This hotel is exceptional. Granted, it is mainly used as an airport stopover hotel, but they take pride in providing an immaculate hotel and great service. The hotel is close to the airport but there really isn't anything close by, in terms of amenities. If you need a hotel layover, book this hotel without hesitation. It really is outstanding

convenient and close location to the airport, friendly staff. excellent breakfast and dinner. free transfer to and from the airport. The only inconvenience was calling a transfer from the airport. It was necessary to call the hotel to call the transfer, but calls are only made from a local phone card and you had to ask local residents to call the hotel and call the transfer.

We stayed here as it was close to Maplensa Airport and the hotel offered a free airport shuttle. Front desk was friendly and check in and out a breeze. They offer a very good breakfast and the hotel has an onsite bar and restaurant. Food in restaurant was good. There isn't any walkable restaurants or stores nearby.
