Located in the residential area of La Sierrezuela Villa La Solana comfortably sleeps 10-12.
From the veranda Villa La Solana has unrivalled and spectacular panoramic views down to Fuengirola and the sea making it perfect for a relaxing evening drink it is also blessed with a sizeable garden area which also accommodates a BBQ.
Being south facing the villa enjoys uninterrupted sunshine around the garden and pool from sun up to sun down which is quite unique for any property!
There is a large veranda which has a sizeable table which will seat 10/12 for eating and there is also a separate relaxed seating area to enjoy the view from.
The villa is 5 double/twin bedroom villa all with en suite bathrooms, 4 styled as "wet rooms" and one has a bath. The bedrooms are unusually spacious and three of them have ample room to accommodate an extra bed and air conditioning is fitted to all the bedrooms. Two are located upstairs along with a kitchen dining area and a large living area with doors out on to a veranda. The other three are downstairs and two of which have doors leading out to the pool area.
The pool is a generous size (9.5m x 4.5m) with Roman steps at the shallow end making it ideal for families. It can also be heated during the cooler months of the year at an extra cost if required.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned villa, which features a fireplace and a private pool. There's a private balcony or patio. Great family trip in April

The villa was perfect for our needs as a family aged 3 to 73 in April. The well heated pool and a lovely garden with BBQ were a real bonus for the children and adults. The terrace and indoor dining area were both great places for family meals and could comfortably accommodate the 10 of us. All 5 good to large sized bedrooms were en suite and the configuration and flexibility suited us very well. It was very well equipped with good quality fixtures and fittings throughout and at the same time feeling comfortable and child friendly. It was helpful to have a car and it was quick to get to the beach, Mijas Pueblo, Biopark, Malaga city and airport. All communication and instructions were very clear and helpful with very speedy responses to any questions and requests. All in all it was perfect for our family holiday and is even better than the photos.

Another amazing stay

This villa is just beautiful. It has everything that you need. Kitchen is very well equipped. Plenty of room for my party of 9. Fabulous views down to the coast. Plenty if seating area on the terrace and large table seats 10. This was our 2nd visit and I hope to return next year.

Our stay at La Solana August 2024

We had a fantastic 10 day stay at Villa La Solana. The villa is beautiful and the views spectacular. Everyone loved the swimming pool and the evening bbq's. There were 10 of us, spanning three generations and including three young girls aged 5,3 and 15 months. There was plenty of shade and space inside for the girls to play, so it was the perfect villa for a relaxing family holiday and the beaches are a short drive away for those who wanted a change. The owner Jeremy was really helpful from the moment we booked and always responded promptly to any queries. We would highly recommend La Solana.

Exceptional Villa

Exceptional Villa with wonderful all round views from the furnished terrace. Very well equipped and all accommodation was to a very high standard. The grounds and pool were beautiful. Would recommend to family and friends for a wonderful holiday.

Really lovely villa

We were are group of 8 ladies. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the villa. Amazing views! We liked the veranda eating and relaxing area. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen, everything was thought of. Bedrooms suited as because we asked for the beds to be made up as singles. It was just perfect and we had a fantastic week. Just one little negative was that the bathrooms upstairs need refurbishing but perfectly adequate. We would definitely book again!

Fabulous villa with spectacular views

The villa was extremely spacious and even better than the pictures. Plenty of space both inside and out. The views from the eating areas outside were fantastic. We booked the villa mainly based on the pool area and gardens and were not disappointed. The pool was very clean and the gardens were pretty and well maintained. There were plenty of sun beds provided, as well as umbrellas which gave much needed shade. The villa itself was extremely well equipped and the kitchen especially had everything we needed. Communication with Jeremy, the host, was very efficient and helpful. Would definitely recommend this villa.

A fabulous villa in a fabulous location

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this villa. It was traditional and spanish and overwhelmingly lovely. The eating areas outside were great and the pool was something else. It was a good size for a villa, it was deep, it was beautifully lit and very well maintained. Any issues within the house were responded to really quickly and efficiently by the owner I would highly recommend this property. If I was to criticise anything it would be that the single beds were quite short. My sons are 6ft and 6ft 3inches and they were significantly too long for the beds which they found a little uncomfortable. Beds themselves are comfy it's purely the length. I am 5 ft6 inches and they were plenty long enough for me. I wouldn't however let that put me off booking again.

A wonderful family holiday

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the villa. The gardens and pool area are beautiful and even better than the photographs. The veranda is perfect for dining and relaxing on with spectacular views of mountains, valley and sea. The Villa is in a great location slightly out of town but only a 10 minute drive from the beachfront and centre of fuengirola. James the owner quickly responded to any issues or questions we had which was much appreciated.

Beautiful villa in excellent location with amazing views

We all loved this villa for so many reasons The pool was large enough to have a good swim and accommodate plenty of inflatable toys for the children. All 5 bedrooms were large and airy. As a party of 11 (6 adults & 5 children aged 3-8) the dining areas and chiiing areas were large and just perfect. Plenty of shaded areas to escape the peak sunshine The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need The views from the upper terrace were amazing The villa is well positioned for a short drive to the beach or up to the beautiful town of Mijas We would highly recommend the villa to families or groups of friends it definitely won’t disappoint.Jeremy the host was available to answer any questions very promptly. We would love to return in the future

Everything you need

We had a lovely stay at this villa. It’s has everything you need for a great villa holiday. The pool is a great size and has lots of sun beds and seats to relax in. The rooms are all great size with en suite. There is also a good quality table tennis table in the shade! The highlight of the villa for me was the seating area on the veranda. Perfect for a morning cup of tea or an evening glass of wine. The communication was great and the place is well kept. Highly recommend

Lovely villa and in a really nice area, 10 mins from Fuengerola - 20 mins from Mijas and

Overall we had a great time, the villa was perfect for our party of 12. it was all family and friends celebrating a 50th birthday with ages from 5 to 58 - every one of us had a fantastic time and was one of our best holidays ever. Lovely Villa with a perfect location and great view.

We were 8 adults and 4 children and had a great time/week with ample space for all of us. We can especially recommend the terrace on the upper floor, where we spent a lot of time enjoying the beautiful view.

Great villa

The property was all we expected. The decor in the villa was in good condition. The villa is very spacious and has a fantastic view from the terrace overlooking Fuengirola. The pool and the area around it is well maintained and during the day we lived by the pool for the week. Recommend this property.

Perfect!

This is a lovely property, really spacious, well maintained with a homely feel. All the rooms are extremely comfortable with en-suite bathrooms and great amenities. We were a group of 10 friends and family and had a wonderful time catching up. The pool is perfect, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. All in all we had a really enjoyable stay,I would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Spacious villa with fantastic pool

Lovely and huge villa, big bedrooms and living space, as well as wonderful balcony with space to eat together and space yo relax. Pool was 30 degrees throughout our stay which was great for the kids. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, and close to some great restaurants in El Coto, who also deliver to the villa. Had a fantastic time and plan to return! Also, great communications with the owner Jeremy who was super helpful and responsive.

Excellent family accomodation

We have just returned from a week at La Solana. Our family holiday was to celebrate two 'round' birthdays and it was the perfect place for our family of 8 adults, 1 teenager and 2 children. Apart from two days at the beach, we spent our days in and around the pool. The villa and gardens were spacious enough for us all to have our own space, yet we gathered on the veranda in the evenings, with a glass of wine and a game of cards enjoying the fantastic view over Fuengirola. Due to the size of our party, we decided not to bother with a hire car and relied on either taxis or the bus into Fuengirola. It is a 15 minute walk down to El Coto where there is a small supermarket, Pizzeria, Pharmacy, 2 reasonable restaurants (which do,takeaways) and the bus stop. The supermarket will order you a taxi back to the villa ! For shopping a hire car would be advantageous! La Solana is well equipped for a family holiday and we would certainly return and recommend. A wonderful week with lots of special memories.

Great family holiday

Beautiful and well appointed villa with great views from the rear terrace stretching down to the sea. Spacious and comfortable with a great pool it was the perfect base for our family holiday. Although a car will be essential the villa is handily placed between the lively Fuengirola and the beautiful Mijas each with loads of restaurants and bars , both these towns have very efficient and reasonably priced taxi services to get you home if needed. Thank you Jeremy for a very enjoyable stay all round.

Fabulous Holiday

Our extended family,8 Adults and two children have just returned from a Fantastic week at Villa La Solana, The Villa was very homely, spacious and well equipped. Having the Sun all day meant we spent most of our time at the pool or on the first floor terrace, this also allowed us to relax in the evenings with superb views of Fuengirola. El Coto has three great restaurants. La Verona The Indian and the Pizzeria and has a supermarket for the essentials.The walk from the Villa takes 15 minutes downhill but would recommend a taxi back! costing 8 Euros per journey. As this was our first Villa holiday, Jeremy was very helpful giving us advice before our arrival. Would happily revisit in the future. Lora Kelly Glasgow

Great property in a good location

We have recently stayed in this property with 6 adults and 6 children. The property was in a lovely location with great views. There was plenty of room for us all and Jeremy was very accommodating even sourcing extra high chairs and travel cots for us to save us bringing them with us. There was also a stair gate in place on the stairs down to the bedrooms which was great as with young children it meant we were able to relax. Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend the property.

Wonderful villa above Fuengirola

We were 10 persons who lived in Villa La Solana for two weeks summer 2023. The villa is perfect for two or three families, as there are two separate sleeping areas and all rooms have en suite bathrooms. The villa is very well equiped, and an extra plus for pool towels included. It is a bit off grid, so you willl need a car for your stay.
