The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and absolutely fine for our stay. It is an older hotel and it reflects that yet very safe and AMAZING location.
The checkin personnel were friendly. The property is OLD and needs improvements badly. Rusty fixtures, stained floors, concrete walls with no pictures, one facecloth, no clock or phone. Beds were like concrete and the bed pillows smelled very smokey. Veey outdated and the room smelled very overwhelming of cleaning products. Parking is limited and we parked in a bacl alleyway. Right on busy highway and very loud all night long. We would never consider staying there again.

The office staff was efficient upon checking in. I didnt see rhwm afterwards. The interent service was iffy, at best, with it constantly dropping out. The room was clean, albeit a litrle rundown. Lots of parking. Good location
The was a very bad end to our trip. We wanted to stay close to the airport for an early flight - this was not, although that was primarily my fault. I checked in and was given a room on the second floor. I asked where the elevator was and told there was no elevator, but the stairs were right outside. Now, almost all my life I have preferred stairs over elevators, but not with heavy suitcases and not now when I am awaiting scheduling knee replacement. I said I cannot do stairs and needed a first floor room. But they were full. Not good. Got to the room and it was freezing (set at 60°) and the air conditioner was up high and I could not reach. I did find a remote control after my husband contemplated climbing on a chair. We could have been told about that, and the room should never have been set that cold. We couldn't figure out how to get the football playoffs on the TV and I couldn't find an ice machine, so back down the stairs. Turns out we were missing a controller for the TV. The ice machine was locked and although I didn't take enough I wasn't going to go through that again. Then went into the bathroom and it was scary old. Patches, mold, maybe termites as there were wood filings by some holes.

One night at Gable Inn
I didn't have hot water. I sleep through anything, but for people who don't, there is traffic noise from the highway. I don't care about ambience at all, but the room I had was worn. Tile broken. I got a bed that was clean, and a wall heat pump, so one is able to somewhat control the room temperature.
Walls are all patched and everything painted white. Tiles on the floor are cracked and the noise from the road sounded like you were sleeping on a freeway. My wife and I refused to use the shower or sink. Also had cockroach.
Management very friendly and honest.
Hotel is older but very clean.
Great value for the money.
Glad that we stayed there. Close to the airport. We arrived after midnight but the hotel and Expedia were on top of how to handle late

OK for a night or two, mostly because of the price. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable. On site parking available. Some traffic noise due to the train line and a busy street nearby. The facility is in a bad need of renovation, everything is pretty old and worn out.
This hotel was fully occupied but a lot quieter than most hotels I have ever stayed in. I was able to sleep with no problem. The room was not great, but it was clean. The only problem I had was the light in the bathroom not working.
