Very nice hotel.

We had a very nice time at the location. We would have prefered to have a room with a microwave but asked for a handicap accessible room due to being on a cane and it seemed that the room only had the essentials. Basically bed, built in side tables, and a mini fridge. However, there's a restaurant and bar onsite. Also, there was a coffee area and a microwave in the lobby so it worked out. Everyone was very nice although parking isn't very close most time with there being only a couple spaces outfront. The beach wasn't very close when using a cane which was a bit disappointing but would probably be considered pretty close otherwise. We did walk down once but it was a bit difficult due to having a disability. Overall, I'd stay again as the staff were all amazing and accommodating. Check in was quick and simple. Also, the sitting area out front was very pleasant and although you're by the road it wasnt very distracting.

The property provides a dorm room type of accommodation with bunk beds. You can get buy, if you spend most of your time on the beach. However, if you want a hotel type room, with a desk, chair, etc. that wasn't there. There is an onsite pool. 2 chairs are provided to you on the beach. Did notice some dead cockroaches there and there. Drinking water is through the bar, downstairs. Shower was nice. Sink was way too small.

Not really satisfied

When we arrived, we noticed that not all the beds had towels on them. When we went into the bathroom and saw the sink, we were shocked; you can’t even wash your face without flooding the place. To make things worse, the shower door wouldn’t open properly, so we ended up soaking the bathroom even more. The room wasn’t very clean, especially in the corners of the bed pods, even though the beds themselves were fairly comfortable. Honestly, I think we paid way too much for a room like this. That said, the staff was extremely kind. I’d give them 10 stars just for how friendly they were. But for the room itself… it’s a no from me.

Hidden gem at a great value. Pool is good. Fairly quiet. Outside sign of "Alden Hotel" makes it a little difficult to find. Weirdest thing is the super small bathroom sink with the strange loopy faucet... I've never seen anything like it... someone made the wrong choice there. Makes it a torture to rinse your face or trying to do anything for that matter.

Quick get away.

Overall room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel did have a dingy smell to it, maybe a dehumidifier would help. Parking= horrible, only 4 by the street in front, we valet in the hotel directly behind (AC Hotel) and walked around every time. The restroom had some dirt texture maybe from renovations? Minor things, but worked for us to sleep and change in. Bar downstairs was really good and they have happy hour drinks. Walk to the beach was really easy. Bar staff was good.

The price of this hotel is completely reasonable. It’s not perfect but for the price you can’t complain. The staff will accommodate you and try their best to make you feel at home.
