We were giving wrong information for hotel shuttled, waited well over and hour then took an uber. Check in was ok, given a room where the door hardware was unstable and dead bolt not working. Room change done quickly. Hotel is old, tired and below the standard of a Marriot Cortyard. Food in the cafe took 2 hours to prepare. There was one man trying to serve customers, cook and make cocktails. He did let us know the food would "take a while " because it was just him. The only positive thing I can say is the room was clean. Bottom line, stay elsewhere.

Disaster

We started out calling for their shuttle, after the 3rd call an hour and half later he finally told us the shuttle doesn’t pick up at fort Lauterdale airport! Getting into our 2 booked rooms total disappointment! Beds were full size not queen! Windows so dirty couldn’t even see out them! We reserved a shuttle for the next day which was an hour late, I had paid $90 dollars for (6 of us). The room was more what I would expect from a low end super 8 motel. Paid almost $600 for 2 rooms! Paid $5 for a cup of coffee. What a disappointment!!!!

The hotel is a bit old, and the rooms are a bit old fashioned with the AC unit in the corner of the room (which is super loud). Some people might not like the smell coming out of the AC since it's too old and kind of molded inside.The Front desk staff and the bistro staff were really friendly. It's located in a convenient area, so if its either for a quick layover, or a couple of nights stay, it's convenient. It can get loud inside the room whenever a flight passes by as its really close to the airport. Nights were usually quiet since I guess that runway is not used for the night flights. The cleaning will be only done once every 2 days, and we had to request every time we needed the room cleaned. Also, the bistro menu is very limited, so it's better to order food from outside. Overall, we had a pleasant stay,

This hotel needs a makeover in the rooms. The scent is undesirable. The linens were not for 4 persons even though it is on the reservations. The pull out sofa indicated a bed for 2 and it was a twin size. It should not have the marriott name attached to this hotel. Will not recommend.
