Disappointing Stay at ULIV Hotel – Poor Management & Unacceptable Conditions**
I recently stayed at the ULIV Hotel in Mexico City for 8 nights, and unfortunately, my experience was far from acceptable. Two major incidents ruined my stay, and the hotel's response was utterly inadequate.
First, during my stay, the running water suddenly stopped while I was in the shower. I had to use my own bottled water just to rinse off. When I reported the issue, management offered nothing more than a weak apology ("Sorry for your inconvenience")—no compensation, no urgency to resolve it. The water was out for **8 hours**, which is inexcusable for a paid stay.
Then, on my **final night**, the air conditioner leaked excessively, dripping water all over my **expensive clothing** and damaging it. Again, the response was dismissive: they said they’d send someone to fix it *the next morning* and suggested I use a dryer for my soaked clothes. I even had to use their towels to clean up the mess myself—something the staff should have handled immediately. (I have video proof of the AC leaking.)
For the price paid, I expected better maintenance and customer service. The lack of accountability—especially when my belongings were ruined—is unacceptable. I would **not recommend** this hotel to anyone expecting professionalism or basic comfort.
I escalated this to Expedia and ULIV refused to take responsibility.
