One block from Zócalo and amazing rooftop (SI304)
Summary:
We´re doing additional cleening steps to provide a safe enviroment against COVID-19, thats why we´re charging a little bit more on our cleanning fee. Some of the measuresthat we´re doing are as follows: 1) Cleaners wear gloves and masks all the time during a cleaning. 2) We use special antiviral products on ALL surfaces.
The Space:
Located just 1 block from the Templo Mayor, 2 blocks from the Zócalo and behind the Old School of San Ildefonso, this apartment has an unbeatable location. In addition with a professional decoration, ample space and great view of the balcony of trees and emblematic buildings will make your stay magical.
Guest Access:
The apartment has a full kitchen, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, dining room, TV room with sofa bed and separate bedroom. The TV is a 55 "Smart TV with Netflix and other apps, high speed internet is available. It has a working desk inside the bedroom and enough space to store all your clothes. In the building there is a roof garden common with unbeatable views of domes, the Latin tower and emblematic buildings. In addition there is a GYM with treadmill, elliptical and bicycle. The building has security and doorman 24 hrs a day.
The Neighborhood:
The building is just a few steps from the Zócalo or Plaza de la Constitución which is the main plaza in Mexico City and to which you will walk along a traditional cobblestone street (just as they did in the old times) and where you will find a beautiful example of colonial architecture, although its history goes back to the pre-colonial era. You will be just one block from important archaeological sites such as the Templo Mayor Museum and other tourist attractions such as the Alameda, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Zócalo, the Temple and the Plaza de Santa Catarina (resting place of the Virgin of Guadalupe), the National Museum of Art, the Mining Palace, the Franz Mayer Museum, the Museum of Memory and Tolerance, the Museum of Popular Art, the Metropólitan Theater and the Hidalgo Theater, among many, many others.
Getting Around:
The apartment is one block from the Metro station "Zócalo" so from here you can take it to go anywhere in the city. We are also meters away from an Ecobici station, which are bicycles that you can rent with your credit card. Various bus routes and site taxis circulate around the area. Besides, you will have the option of Uber service and similar platforms.
Other Things to Note:
The apartment is in a newly renovated building which is part of the revitalization project of the Historical Center of Mexico City. You'll have to fill a brief survey which we will send online for your checkin.
Interaction with Guests:
Usually I'm not in the building as I'm a frequent traveller, but either the doorman or cleaning ladies can assist you with your stay. For any questions you may have you can contact me or Jess. Our working hours are from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
