Great location to walk anywhere . Beds were comfortable , very clean and easy to find . Breakfast could be a little better . There was a lot of bees everywhere too.

The Positive: The room was large and clean. The air conditioning worked well.The breakfast was good with a variety of choices. The hotel is centrally located. The Negative: We stayed here on our arrival, and before our departure from CMDF. Both times there was confusion about checking in. They couldn’t find our reservations at first (both were made through Expedia). It turns out that the reception desk handles check-ins for both the hotel and a hostal next door by the same name. Once they found our reservation in the Hotel, their demeanor changed and they were friendly and allowed us to check in an hour early. The elevator was out of service about half the time we stayed there, which required us to go up and down two or three flights of status. The stairs just barely had a handrail. On our last morning there was no one available to help us take the bags downstairs, so we had to carry them ourselves so we could get to our Uber. The key cards only worked half the time. When they wouldn’t open the door, we needed to go back down the stairs (or the elevator) to have them “fix” or reactivate the cards. This became pretty tiresome, as both my husband and I are in our seventies and Mexico City is at ~7,000 feet above sea level.

I really accept the room doesn’t have exterior windows ( was like a box)but the smell coming for the bathroom was terrible. The staff was so serious when we arrive, didn’t greet or thanks for be there. The staff from the kitchen/terrace was really nice 5 starts to them. I am not planning to going back there and sad but I don’t recommend.

Took our daughters for a family vacation to ciudad México and it was one of the best vacations ever! Our stay at the hotel was perfect, its conveniently placed next to el zocalo with food options right outside our door. Would absolutely stay again

I booked a room with 2 beds for a one week stay with a friend. When we arrived, the room only had one bed and when I inquired how we could remedy the situation, no solution was given. There were no rooms with 2 beds and they would not supply a cot. I ended up booking a room in another hotel for the entire week at my cost. Unacceptable.

Beautiful Landmark.

Moctezuma suite 204 there is a big step inside the room if you check after dark you won’t notice the huge step because the switch is not close to the door. There is no elevator in the hostal side but is a private room with shower. No AC , you must open the 2 windows in the shower and sink , a little noise fan but the Hotel is 2 blocks from Zocalo. 👍

Bathroom / shower was not cleaned prior to check-in. We noticed hairs on the floor as soon as we walked in. We also ran out of toilet paper one day, and they replaced it with a half used roll. The elevator also had an odd smell and breakfast was very limited.

I like the location walking distance to Zocalo and Bella de Artes. You can easily get Uber although the traffic is bad.

I'm just being honest with this review the Pro's: Quick Check In, Good breakfast, Location, Cleaning staff excellent. Con's: No fridge in the room very inconvenient if you have cold medicine to take, Not even a small coffee maker in the room you have to go to the 4th floor to access one, Bathtub horrible my wife falls in the bathtub water everywhere no bars to help you to hold, Super noisy you can basically hear the conversations from all the rooms around you, the gasoline smells terrible in the room and the elevator super uncomfortable if you are traveling with family you basically can fix 2 bags with two people or less, and no ice at all, or cold water at all unless you buy it and don't rent a car because is super uncomfortable to park close to the hotel and even to drop you there because of the traffic and everyday people is having a protest making the traffic and driving there very hard thank you.

Rooms very clean except issues at one of the bedrooms bathroom had an unpleasant odor coming from the cracked floor broken pipe water puddles. Reported to office stuff. Hoping to get another room. But didn’t according to them the problem was fixed. We also had issues with water temperature. 😔

First time in Mexico City and happy that we stayed here. Front desk were always helpful and on standby. Frida and Fabiola helped us out with tour deals, transportation and minor inconveniences. Most def coming back here !
