This hotel is affordable and conveniently located. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The shower took a long time to heat up. The Front desk staff did not speak English, and check in was confusing due to extra deposit. Otherwise staff were polite and did their best. The breakfast at the restaurant on site was basic but plentiful, but the rest of the menu needs improvement. It is a good choice for those with a limited budget, but those who can afford more might be happier with another option.

Maria Cristina hotel location is outstanding we could walk for dinner just a few steps, also public transportation points are so close. The BAR is very nice and breakfast is awesome.

Old school DF meets CDMX. Convenient location with clean rooms and friendly service. This place is a bargain compared to alternatives in the neighborhood. Stunningly beautiful garden situated on the property.

I liked the location, which was quiet and not far from the historic district or Chapultepec. The hotel lounges are quite pleasant. However, the “double” beds are very small. It's difficult for two people to fit in them, even though we're fairly slim. The internet access is terrible for a hotel of this standard. Only two devices can connect per room (so you have to choose between a phone and a computer, and if there are three of you, it gets very complicated). And even when you do get a connection, it's very unstable and of very poor quality. I strongly advise against this hotel for people who need to work remotely. There is no soap or shampoo in the showers. On the other hand, they are very flexible about check-out, which can be done at 2 p.m. This is rare and worth mentioning.

An historic property in a great location, but unfortunately it has become quite tired and ragged. I first stayed here in 2001 and it looks like nothing has changed or improved since. Nice lobby and common areas and my room was clean. But check in was slow and their processes are antiquated. Not a bad mid tier option for the area, but an aging property relying on past splendor.
