I recently spent 11 nights at Galeria Plaza San Jerónimo, expecting a comfortable and well-maintained stay, but my experience was far from satisfactory due to several unresolved issues.
First and foremost, the acoustic insulation is extremely poor—so bad that it feels like the guests in the adjacent suite are inside your room. Every conversation, movement, and noise from the next room is clearly audible, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. For a hotel of this category, such inadequate soundproofing is simply unacceptable.
Additionally, I experienced a severe water leakage from the shower box that extended into the hallway of my room. I reported this issue to the front desk more than three times, and each time, I was assured that maintenance would be sent to fix it. No one ever came, leaving me to deal with a persistently wet and slippery floor for my entire stay.
Another disappointment was the lack of basic amenities. I requested shampoo and body wash multiple times, yet they were never delivered to my room. It’s frustrating to repeatedly ask for simple toiletries that should be readily available in any hotel.
Finally, the air conditioning is ineffective. Even when set to full power with the blinds closed, the room temperature remained at an uncomfortable 25°C, making it difficult to rest properly.
Overall, the lack of responsiveness from the staff and the poor condition of key amenities made my stay far below expectation.
