Very beautiful hotel with so much character. Located in a convenient but also vibrant area of the city. When I was lodging there were protest making it hard to get to but I'm sure it's great minus the protest. Highly recommend. Price point was great for the amenities, location, and service.

I loved my stay at Casa de la Luz! I truly felt like a welcomed guest. From the front desk staff, housekeeping, and restaurant staff, everyone was hospitable willing to go above and beyond. The property is so unique and found beauty in it. The restaurant was really tasty for dinner and had a good selection for breakfast. The property is conveniently located in the historic center with close proximity to museums, the cathedral, and buses/train lines.

Amazing staff in a charming hotel. Rooftop restaurant was delicious. Breakfast restaurant in the lobby was convenient. Complimentary water bottles daily in room. Very central location a few blocks to the main Zocalo square. We will be back

The most beautiful hotel and wonderful staff! They were all so gracious and accommodating! I was nervous as this was our first trip to Mexico city and our Spanish is not the best :) But the staff spoke excellent english. The breakfast and restaurant in general were out of this world. The building was originally constructed in 1537 which blew my mind. The room was modern and high end. The only 4/5 stars item was not about the hotel, but the street it was on. It is on a very busy turn around street that is only one lane, but has 2 ways of traffic, so picking up a uber up front was difficult and required some spanish to help the driver figure out where to go. And it is a metro right there, so there were a lot of people loitering and a lot of police, but it did not feel unsafe, it is just something to be aware of. We would 1000% stay there again! We would just walk to the end of the block to order an uber :)

The room was huge and comfortable. On a noisy street but windows and doors were great at sealing noise out. Breakfast was so delicious. Gorgeous old building very well renovated and kept. Very pleased!!!

Amazing hotel and staff was exceptional. From the front desk attendants and all the other staff, we want to say thank you so much for making our visit memorable. The location was in the middle of the historic district which made it easy to visit many sites. The restaurant in the hotel is also one of the best places we ate during our visit. We will definitely be staying here when we come back. Highly recommended for first time visitors and returning visitors.

This hotel is located in a beautiful historic building just a few blocks from the Zocolo. It has a charming sitting areas and a wonderful rooftop restaurant where they will make you fresh table side salsa. Our room was large, very clean and very well maintained. The best part of our stay was due to the staff. All very friendly, warm and caring. Highest recommendation.
