No hot water was the biggest problem. No one would answer phone at front desk so I went downstairs to front desk. And the person’s immediate response: it’s not my fault. I understand she didn’t personally cause the problem. Basically told me there was nothing to until the manager got there the next morning. I said OK, I want to check out and leave with a refund. There’s my next problem. I can’t get a refund without you. And contacting you is no piece of cake

Everything was excellent except check-in where the desk person received a phone call during our arrival and proceeded to complete the reservation while we waited. He could easily have asked to put the caller on hold for the moment it took to give us our room keys.

Very good breakfast buffet, with staff paying close attention to food and drink. Loved the blueberry scones. The only drawback was the fact that we chose this hotel because it was Pet Friendly. Although we expected a pet fee, it didn’t feel very “friendly” to be charged an extra $75 for our pet, that’s quite exorbitant!
