Room was clean and service was good, the bed was a bit smaller than I thought, but comfortable, an extra pillow would have been well received, since the headboard was metal, but in all it was good and well serviced for a 300 year old Hacienda.

Hotel might be a little overpriced for what it has to offer. General rooms are Mexican vintage with much needed updates, as on every other area like the fountain in the entrance. Only a few suite rooms could enter under the “boutique” umbrella (for design, space and amenities). Pool was always cold during our stay, we couldn’t swim (and was part of our plan). Staff was nice. And location is very good for walking around downtown Merida.

It was a unique historic hotel in the old downtown of Merida. The courtyard was beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, and the location is very convenient.

A very charming old colonial priest convent. Mission two blocks from the Central Square. You have a real sense of living in colonial Merida. Excellent breakfasts. Lovely little pool.
