Tranquil setting for a relaxing break at La Casa degli Ulivi

A modern built, but traditional style house in a beautiful peaceful setting within it's own olive grove, producing our fabulous olive oil. The house is on two floors and has a total floor space of approx 80 sq metres. The top floor consists of a big open plan main bedroom with king sized bed and mosquito net if required! There is a long balcony off the main bedroom with a view across the vineyards to the sea, ideal to sit and chill. The rear bedroom has two single beds with walk in wardrobe space with a balcony which overlooks the pool, garden and olive grove. In between the two bedrooms is a small shower room with basin and toilet. The downstairs has a big living area incorporating a fully equipped modern kitchen including fridge freezer, gas hob, electric fan oven and dishwasher with a deLonghi coffee machine for those essential Italian espressos!! There is a separate utility room which houses a washer/drier and ironing board etc. A further bedroom is at the rear of the ground floor which has a very comfortable steel framed king sized fold out sofa bed if required. There are French doors leading out to the garden. Also on this floor is a large shower room with shower, basin, toilet and bidet. The garden has a large patio area with a pagoda covering it with the 35 sq metre swimming pool set within a lawned garden with many colourful plants and trees. This is a very relaxing spot to laze around the pool with a glass or two of the sensational local wines. A further covered area to the side of the house is perfect for those long lazy Sicilian lunches with the family. All living areas are fully air conditioned via individual remote control for your comfort. The house and garage are fully alarmed and there is WiFi available for your convenience. The bed linen is all luxurious Egyptian cotton and bathroom towels are included. A car is essential as the house is located approx 5km from the very typically Sicilian town of Menfi and a similar distance to the beautiful blue flagged beaches of Porto Palo and Lido Fiori. The location is a great base to explore this fabulous region of Sicily, with The Valley of the Temples at Agrigento about an hour away and Selinunte very close as well as the beautiful architecture of Marzara del Vallo and the vibrant fishing port of Sciacca. For golfers, the world class resort of Verdura is half an hour's drive. There are many fabulous restaurants in Menfi and the surrounding area including Tenuta Stoccatello, Il Vigneto and the very famous Da Vittorio all serving the very finest cuisine this part of Sicily has to offer. 1 hour from Palermo airport. 45 mins from Birgi airport. Car is essential.
