The Grazier’s House is light, bright and welcoming. The House features five (5) bedrooms and has the capacity to sleep ten (10) people. There are three King bedrooms – one with ensuite, one Queen bedroom, and one bedroom with two single beds.
The Grazier’s House is the perfect base to explore the Mudgee region or kick back and switch off from the World. The wood fire in the lounge area warms the toes and the heart, and the outdoor BBQ and firepit area allows you to dine under a million stars.
The Grazier’s House is located in a little patch of rural paradise. Situated on the side of a small rise, the House has panoramic views of surrounding paddocks, gnarly old eucalypt trees, and extends out to a backdrop of rolling hills that catch the golden afternoon light.
If you are after solitude, then The Grazier’s House will suit you perfectly. No neighbours, no other houses or buildings and the only noise may be the passing of the odd farm ute or the contented bellow of a grazing cow.
The House is an easy 5minute drive from Mudgee over good tarred roads. Turning off the main Wilbertree Road, it changes to a good all-weather dirt surface (Yes, you are in the country now) and there are a couple of ramps to navigate. Drive slowly and carefully to avoid any wandering cattle and resident kangaroos.
The easiest way to get to The Grazier’s House is by car – either your own or with one of the local taxis or Uber service. Alternatively talk to us about booking our 10-seater mini-bus (with driver) for a hassle-free day out and where everyone gets to eat, drink and be merry. We are happy to coordinate wine tours or book exclusive wine tastings and horse stud tours at Gooree Park.
If you are a keen cyclist, the House is an easy bike ride from Mudgee on relatively flat and traffic-free roads. Undercover parking for bicycle or car (2 spaces) is available adjacent to the house.
