The room was much noisier than I would've expected. Could actually hear conversations from the hallway. The public restrooms needed cleaning, but I don't think they had enough staff available.

The way MapQuest brought me in off the main street was down a back alley that made me think I had taken a wrong turn. Can something be done on that back road so that the next travelers will know they are on the right track?

I really enjoyed the breakfast, and my kids loved going to their pool. The only issue that I experienced was the overall cleanliness of the lobby. There was some build up of dust and items that seemed to be tucked behind the sofa (general lobby cleaning concerns). Also, the lobby had a few flying insects (gnats/flies), which is probably expected during the hotter months with so many guests going and coming. But, when I called and requested that they have the staff to clean my room since we were staying for more than one night, the manager was able to accommodate my request and had my room cleaned during our family's vacation. This was a refreshing accommodation for us and we appreciated their obligement. Overall, pretty good hotel. Staff was pretty nice as well. No major complaints.

The front desk workers were wonderful and nice. Everything seemed clean and taken care of. Rooms were large but unnecessarily. Poor layout of room for sure. It made the bathrooms very small and only had double beds instead of being able to offer queens. We did have some issues with carpet staples sticking out of the floor and poking our feet but they came up right away to fix it so that was nice.

The hotel was overall good. When we arrived for check in, we were the 4th in line. It took over 30 minutes to get checked in because they only had one staff member working the front. A few days before we got there, I called the hotel to specifically ask what the incidental deposit was and was told $15. When we checked in, she said it was $50 and that policy changed 2 weeks prior. Which is fine, but when budgeting, I like to know in advance since it's a long hold. Our room was nice, except the sink plug was broken, so we had to call maintenance to come fix it. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was actually decent. Pool area was nice. We would stay again if in the area.
