I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Flamingo Hotel was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. The service here was absolutely terrible from start to finish. The staff were shockingly rude and dismissive it felt like we were bothering them just by checking in. To make things worse, the hygiene standards were unacceptable. The room was not properly cleaned, and basic essentials were missing. For an entire day, there was no toilet paper provided, and when we asked for it, the staff acted like it was a huge inconvenience. How does a hotel run out of toilet paper? The overall hospitality was nonexistent. There was no warmth, no courtesy, and definitely no effort to make guests feel welcome. Flamingo Hotel seriously needs to rethink what it means to provide service in the hospitality industry.

The bed was good. Beyond that the carpet was filthy with animal hair. Towels weren’t provided unless asked for. TV remote was worn out and barely worked. Pool was dirty as was the hot tub. I could go on. Glad to be home!

Room 213 did not have a blanket on the bed, nor anywhere in the room. Further to this the room had an overpowering smell, making it difficult to breathe thought the night. The outside door didn’t lock, the deadbolt didn’t work. When all issues were shared with the front desk it was suggested that I should have voiced my concerns and that because we booked through Expedia there was nothing they could do for us. This is the third time booking with Expedia and will mostly be our last. First time we didn’t get our money back for a booking not used, second we were put in a room without a working shower and now this last time at the lack luster Flamingo. At this point we will not be recommending Expedia to anyone else unless the company is able to something for us. We hope your Expedia representative will reach out.

I cant believe this hotel is still open. Its so discusting. The breakfast is terrible and despite there being 3 signs saying the pool was closed, not to mention the towel shelves were empty, they insisted that it was open. The rooms were moldy and the shampoo, conditioner and soap were all mismatched brands. I wish there was a way to share photos because words can not describe the state of this place.

The room was average cleanliness, the property and main areas of the hotel are cluttered with old furniture and boards. The pool and hot tub were absolutely disgusting, so much so that other customers at breakfast told me they complained the night before, I assumed they would remedy that by next morning, they did not. This was the main reason we booked there for a hot tub & pool. Because Expedia bookings are non refundable, there was nothing they could do to rectify the situation.

Overall, my Mom and I had a wonderful time at this place. The manager and other staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an excellent room that had two queen beds and a hot tub. This is truly a unique hotel. I understand that it needs some upkeep but at the same time, it gives the place character. I was not seeking perfection from this hotel, but a reasonable priced hotel that was in a good location. The hotel is huge. Really take the time to decide what room what you want to stay in because it can make a huge difference in your experience. I would like to thank the manager for making our stay awesome.

The building is large and run down. Was given a keycard that wouldn’t open the room door. Had to bang on the outside door of the office - desk clerk had disappeared after my intake. Had a shower in the morning- no towels- was going to use the hairdryer- that didn’t work. Went for the complementary breakfast- 4 pcs of toast was all that was there. Ended up going to McD’s next door. The price was great- the rest wasn’t!

The lobby is clean and updated. Parking is right out front, convenient and easy. No restaurant on site. They rent out a portion of the rooms for $1600 a month. Some hallways and corridors smell of cigarette smoke, one had poop smeared in the carpet. Our floor had a hall chair that had blood smeared on the wall and dirty clothing, ice machines did not work, we had a prostitute to our left as well as across the hall from us, and a dirty condom in the hallway in the morning. Our room was pretty clean, one bed had some what looked like dried blood, wear shoes as your feet will feel oily or greasy if barefoot, tv remotes did not work, jacuzzi tub was so loud we thought it would break and fall through the floor so we turned it off. Pool said out of order but we were told it could be used. When we went to leave the pool area , accidentally applied pressure to what we thought was the exit door and it turned out to be a dirty room in use. We found the bed comfortable There are updates being done Some rooms are outdated. Staff was polite

Staff was very helpful, we needed to be on the main floor and they wewe very cooperative in moving us. The motel was under renovation and it is spring there so the winter and fall debris was still there . Otherwise everything was good.

We had our hotel cancel on us last minute due to a gas leak so had to scramble and find a hotel last minute and found the Flamingo. Worst experiance I have ever had at a hotel. Checked into our room and went up to it to find no working lights (all lights in the room did not work). Ring of brown in the toilet and the 2 lights in the bathroom that did work made a horrible sound and flickered. Not very bright for a room with no other lights. Then went dow to ask at what time the pool closed at. I was told 9 PM and it was 9:15 so though OK no pool. In the morning went to bring my stuff down to my car and at the bottom of the stairs there was a HUGE pile of puke right at the bottom of the stairs had to try and get around it without stepping in it. My daughter and I then went to get the "breakfast" that was advetised as part of our stay to find out that "breakfast" was bread that you could toast but no knifes to spread any sort of butter or jam on got told to use the back of my fork and 3 different kinds of cereal. Coffee but no tea even though there was hot water out. It was not a breakfast in any sort of imagination and had to take my kid elsewhere so she could eat something. On our way out I thought OH I want to see the pool we didn't get to go in and looked. The POOL WAS NEVER GOING TO BE OPEN as it was empty of water and filled with pallets so the person at the front desk straight out lie to me. Guess that's what I get for going for a cheap option. Worst hotel stay ever!

Hotel was under renovations with graffiti, garbage, broken glass, old appliances, black flies etc in hallways. But the real issues were neglect. They shouldn’t have bothered with breakfast. Only cereal and eggs. There was bread for toast but no knives for the butter and no other condiments, no sugar for the coffee, salt but no pepper. The smoke alarm battery went off all night. Didn’t pay much but could have gotten better elsewhere.

Room had no towels or facecloths ect. Called the front desk and was rudely told housekeeping knew about it but were busy doing laundry so we'd have to wait. We waited u til checkout and couldn't wash before we left. NEVER AGAIN!
