We stayed for 4 nights. The location is good, right across from shopping and close to the Hwy exit and on ramp. Very easy to access and lots of parking. The bed was comfortable and the shower had lots of pressure. Breakfast was included though we only ate there once. Standard hotel breakfast, questionable scrambled eggs, dried out sausages, waffle maker, cereal toast etc. The amenities in the room were ok but there was no place to put your clothes if you like to unpack other than the closet. Our room had a full size fridge which I thought was a waste because it didn’t have any cooking equipment except a microwave. I would stay here again.

When I first arrived, I asked the front desk about a price I had seen on Hotels.com. The receptionist told me, “We don’t know that site,” and said I should book through Expedia instead. That was already strange. So I booked it myself online right then and there — still no cooperation or courtesy from staff. In the room, we found no toiletries in the bathroom. We called reception, they said “We’ll bring them,” but after 30 minutes, nothing. We called again, and they told us to come down and get them ourselves. Seriously? Breakfast was terrible — bad smell, bad taste, very limited options. Hotels.com had misleading info. It honestly felt like only three people were running the entire hotel. Never coming back and absolutely do not recommend.

Last time I stayed here there was some sort of domestic assault and the police were called. I decided I wasn’t going to stay here again. Didn’t book another hotel early enough and ended up back here once more. The room had some weird smell to it, I asked to change but they said they were sold out even though I could see other rooms available online. The sink in the bathroom had no hot water. There are just better options in Medicine Hat, I stay here quite often.

Great rooms &price but customer service needs work

I asked prior to stay how much damage deposit was they said $200 cc only when I went it was $500 in cash! If you aren’t prepared for this you will be in trouble. Breakfast there was no syrup when we asked for replacement the person opened it up attempted a drizzlw with their finger and resume which nothing came out if but rather sticky all over your hand. Otherwise beautiful suite fantastic price. Just need to work on customer service and business etiquette.

We stayed at Baymont Medicine Hat for a weekend to visit family in town. The hotel was very busy, but that did not keep us from getting very good service & a clean quiet room with everything we needed. Bed was comfy, lots of room amenities, hot breakfast was very good. All for a good price.
