I had an excellent stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Medellín. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and every member of the staff I interacted with was friendly and professional. Breakfast was outstanding each morning, with plenty of fresh options to choose from. There were made-to-order eggs, Colombian specialties as well as continental dishes, fresh fruits, breads, cereals, juices, and great coffee. The buffet staff provided excellent service and really made the mornings enjoyable. My room offered a beautiful view of Medellín. The two queen beds and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I’d also like to give special recognition to my housekeeper, Alejandra, who was exceptionally attentive and friendly. She consistently went above and beyond to make my stay more comfortable. Parking was very convenient for guests, and the location of the hotel is excellent—close to major shopping centers, restaurants, nightlife, and in a safe and pleasant neighborhood. The Itagüí metro station is within walking distance, which makes getting around the city easy. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Medellín. I would definitely stay here again.

A very well-run hotel with friendly, professional staff. Rooms are comfortable and all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained. Their kitchen is not equipped to handle more than a few guests ordering ala carte for lunch or dinner. Keep this in mind when choosing to dine with them.
