Turned out to be an excellent choice for a 5* near the haram. A lot of the service level was generally 5* standard. Dinner was very good (half board). House cleaning and room service were excellent. The dedicated lifts to the Haram make this a fairly fast choice for getting downstairs for prayer. Breakfast was just okay and there were not very many hotel facilities. Concierge was good.

Alle sind sehr hilfsbereit und toll. Rezeption – Zimmerservice – Concierge-Service, besonders Abdelaziz. Du bist weniger als 100 Meter von der Heiligen Moschee entfernt. All together excellent and well maintained. Very walkable to Kaaba--the main reason why we stayed. However, there was a heavy chain smoker on our floor, evident by the constant cigarette smell in the lobby and hallways. I complained to the front desk twice, but the smell persisted :( We were not informed on the RSVP that this was a smoking floor--if there is such a thing at this hotel.
