Enjoy the convenience of having your own boat slip on the community dock (mid May-early September), + a 10' section of private beach. The location is ideal for those looking to leave the hustle and bustle behind and dive into McCall at its most tranquil --surrounded by mature pines and towering granite rock walls, you're just a short walk to Payette Lake (lake views!), Charlie's Garden, + hiking trails; it's the perfect basecamp for remote work, relaxation, or adventure. Just minutes from downtown, Payette Lake, Ponderosa State Park, + McCall Golf Course, the location is fantastic for enjoying McCall! Located between two of Idaho's best ski resorts, you can easily drive to both Tamarack Ski Resort + Brundage Mountain. Winter fun includes Winter Carnival, the Activity Barn's tubing hill, and quick access to snowmobiling, Nordic skiing, + snowshoeing. Maximum occupancy is 6 people.

Located in the Sylvan Beach Subdivision, step into a piece of McCall's history; Sylvan Beach has long been called a "vacationist's paradise" and was the filming location of the 1940 MGM film Northwest Passage! Enjoy lake views and access to your own slip on the community dock. You're also just a short drive from all of the all-season recreation, dining, breweries, and shopping that McCall, Idaho has to offer! If you head north, you can quickly access stunning backcountry hiking and gorgeous alpine lakes. The Outpost is also the perfect basecamp for visiting Tamarack Ski Resort or Brundage Mountain Resort, as well as numerous other local activities such as horseback riding, ziplining, white water rafting, hot springs, and more. We know pets are family; The Outpost is FUR BABY FRIENDLY (one dog that must be registered at time of booking. Our pet fee is $50/pet/stay).

We provide enough paper towels (2 full rolls) and toilet paper (3 rolls per bathroom) to get your stay started. For larger groups or longer stays, add these to your grocery list—we want you stocked and comfortable.

SUMMER CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
Our mountain town has a short summer season, which means a compressed window for construction. New homes and road work happen quickly between June and September. While we update listings when we're aware of neighboring projects, we don't always have advance notice. If you're booking during warm weather months, it's safe to assume some construction activity may be happening nearby. We have no control over neighboring sites or noise, and unfortunately cannot provide refunds due to construction. That said, we're always here—reach out with questions, concerns, or noise complaints and we'll do what we can to help.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We don't make exceptions to the cancellation policy agreed to at booking—this maintains fairness for all guests. Please review your reservation's cancellation terms carefully before finalizing. Please note all refunds (other than stays booked on Airbnb) will be less any credit card processing fees. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. Thanks for understanding.
