Todo el personal con el que me tocó interactuar era increíblemente amable, en especial el señor del restaurante en el desayuno. Lo único es que la propiedad ya se nota muy vieja, está bien para pasar la noche y desayunar.

The room was clean but aged. As it was cold we could have done with a blanket on bed. Lovely hot water. The breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent. The check in staff were good too but spoke only mexican but the one gentleman there in the red cap helped immensely. We have to repeat again how good the hot breakfast was and plenty of it with good variety. Will be staying here again.

Excellent beds, large room with ocean view and great breakfast included and available from 8 to 12 noon. No elevators, but they gave us a second floor easy walkup with a huge balcony. Good minisplit a/c and wonderful staff. We keep extending our stay. A good value!

​El Hotel Playamar me parece muy bonito y limpio. Las habitaciones cuentan con aire acondicionado de excelente calidad, ideal si te incomoda el clima caluroso por las noches. Realizan la limpieza diario, cambiando sábanas y toallas cada jornada, lo cual se agradece mucho después de un día de playa y restaurantes en este bello puerto. ​El personal es muy amable y servicial; hacen un trabajo formidable. Destaco especialmente al señor Jorge, a quien encuentras en el restaurante; siempre está al pendiente de los huéspedes y de que la visita sea confortable. Cuando me hospedé solo ofrecían desayuno, por lo que recomiendo reservar la habitación con el buffet incluido: la comida es variada y deliciosa. ​La alberca es hermosa y se ilumina por la noche; cuenta con sillas, mesas, palapas, regaderas y sanitarios para pasar un rato agradable en familia o con amigos. Logré quedarme en una habitación con vista al mar, desde donde se aprecia la mayor parte del puerto y los atardeceres son espectaculares. El hotel está localizado frente a la playa, así que solo debes cruzar la avenida para llegar a ella. En general, estoy maravillada con el lugar y no dudo en recomendarlo a cualquiera que visite el hermoso puerto de Mazatlán.
