Just felt like I was at home and not in a motel, the inclusions were fantastic, everything we needed was there, had a great stay,we were very comfortable, and enjoyed our stay very much,my daughter had a paranormal experience with a small child,we r both believers.any other reports like my daughter had.
Great spot for heading out to some hiking. Clean and well presented. Great having a washer and drier.

A great location, close to the Mount Field National Park.
An older property with great sleeping options for a large group of travelers.
Well stocked kitchen and good-sized fridge to take supplies.
Got to see the platypus in the pond on site which was a treat.
Fabulous communication from the owner and easy access.
Sadly, lots of black mold in the shower corners and a bloody rag left in the washing machine.
We also had to wash again all the crockery and cutlery we used as they were very dirty with fingerprints, lipstick and beer bubbles still on the glasses.
Parking directly in front of the unit available and a nice walk locally.

Nice stay
The place was amazing. Truly spacious and super clean. The kitchen was well-equpped and the fridge is clean and big for us to store our water bottles. The living room has nice sofa and well decorated and not cluttered. The bedroom was clean and bed was comfortable. There is a laundry room to do our laundry with a dryer. The toilet is clean. A slight of an issue is that the flushing mechanism in the toilet is not working. We have to find a public toilet. Other than that, the place is brilliant and quiet.

A beautiful spot close to Mount Field and a worthwhile walk to Marriott falls.
Property was very spacious, well equipped and had a lovely ambience. The on site restaurant was welcoming with very good food at a reasonable price. H8ghly recommend.
Very spacious with good layout. Excellent hiking trails right at the doorstep.

Comfortable accommodation with basic cooking facilities. However there were many flies and was difficult to keep them out as there were no flyscreens on the doors.
Easy to find and park right outside your cottage. Lovely meals and licensed bar within 50 metres of the cottages. Historical accommodation well kept and clean. We had the whole cottage to ourselves.

The cabin was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Easy check on
Great location to use as a base for riding at Maydena Bike Park. Cottage had all me and the two boys needed.
Great communication from the host who was very happy to help us.

Lovely place to stay
Great location, very large cottage, 5 bedrooms enough to sleep 12 people and a folding out lounge and 3 toilets. it was a little rundown and could do with a big top to bottom clean. Parking was easy and at the door, communication was great and they were very accommodating in regards to early check in and late check out. The restaurant on site was absolutely wonderful.
The washing machine and dryer weren’t working properly. The laundry was untidy. The 2nd bedroom wasn’t set up very well. The entry was very narrow and the lock was tricky. However, it was very clean and a very quiet place to stay, but there were only a few people there.

3 electrical appliances did not work and 2 of those 3 appliances displayed unusual electrical activity. No electrical appliances sighted had been electrically tested and tagged, which is a mandatory workplace requirement in Tasmania in accordance with the relevant WHS/OHS Act.
Off the beaten track, this picturesque place is tucked away in the hills. It’s very relaxing but there are a few nice walks to explore. The cabin has everything you need to be comfortable. I would strongly recommend taking your own food as most places are shut or permanently closed.

Great spot to visit the Styx Valley
Donna is super-helpful, great with communication. We booked into the on-site restaurant and were very happy with their food. Russell Falls is well worth a visit!
Warm comfortable beds. Just a few housekeeping issues. No globes in bedside lights. Only one bedside light in master. Outside light not working. Saucepans need replacing.
Having said that it was a very comfortable and convenient stay. Restaurant was good. Great Parma.
