Nice hotel but very hard to find. Staff was excellent. The AC barely worked.

This hotel is a gem. And the staff are very helpful. Texted us a few days before we arrived to make sure we know where to park. Helpful with places to eat.

This is a truly unique, beautiful place, built into a cave, right in the Sassi of Matera. The owners/operators of the hotel are kind, helpful, and wonderful, and the breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location. Super clean. Tiziana and Carla went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Made arrangements for parking and transfer, booking activities and restaurants. And the cherry on top: an OUTSTANDING breakfast. I would need more than 5 stars to rate the overall experience!

Fabulous location in the centre of the old town, close to numerous great restaurants and bars, but peaceful. Lovely to sit in the small courtyard at the front of the hotel and enjoy the plentiful breakfast. Great hospitality and recommendations for sights and restaurants. Thank you!

Beautiful property! The service was impeccable and the breakfast was spectacular. We were thinking of canceling our stay due to some logistical issues but we were so glad we decided to go and made it work. Matera was my favorite place to visit in Italy. It was hard to get to since the train station was closed but we traveled via Trinitalia link -speed train to Sorrento and bus from Sorrento to Matera but it was very efficient.

This was our favourite of all 5 properties we stayed in Puglia. The staff were wonderful, even before we arrived their service was incredibly attentive. They catered for my gluten free requirements more than anywhere else I've ever stayed. The cave room was gorgeous, all modern conveniences, but sympathetically designed to retain the old world charm. We loved it, and highly recommend for your Matera stay.

What a unique property with a prime walkable location. Our room was built into the rock facade. Lovely decor with an Italian design sensibility. The bathtub and sink, the faucets, the ingenious clothes hanging line, the tile accents. All appreciated. The breakfast was incredible with every thing fresh, homemade and copious. The staff helpful. We parked in town, and were picked up at the garage and dropped off in Stassi- avoiding the challenges of city parking. We enjoyed walking around The beautiful city.

An all round wonderful boutique place.

We had a great time and an amazing breakfast. Carla was extremely helpful. She went out of her to make our visit in Matera extremely joyous. Very good boutique hotel. Highly recommended

Beautiful property and excellent staff. Breakfast was excellent. Only downside was no door to bathroom, only a curtain, but it is a cave room. I would recommend this location and would go back again.

We spent 3 nights at Conche. The room was chic and cool down to every detail. Carla and staff were wonderfully warm, helpful, and thoughtful. A marvelous and memorable stay overall. Will be back soon!
