The rooms were fresh and clean. We had a double room. Has suffice amenities ie small fridge for water or milk to make a tea or coffee. Bathroom was clean but the shower needs to be made a little bigger or put hooks in the spare area so u can hang clothes after the pool or a line yo hang togs after ...

A stay at Discovery Settlers Hotel places you in the heart of Whangarei, within a 15-minute walk of Claphams Clock Museum and Hundertwasser Art Centre.
Basic accomodation but good value, close to town, comfortable and clean. I had breakfast and dinner in Settlers restaurant and it was very good. Wayne the manager is a gentleman and very helpful. No complaints, I would stay here again.
