Beach Break Matarangi is a great family bach with a fantastic sleepout, perfect for children or teenagers. The house has 3 bedrooms, bedroom 1 has a queen bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed and bedroom 3 has a single bed with trundler. The bathroom in the house has a shower and a bath. The sleep-out (the 4th bedroom) has 3 sets of bunks and is more suited to the younger family members. We are recommending that a maximum of 8 adults can stay at the property. The second bathroom is in an outside room around the corner from the sleepout and has a shower and a toilet.
The bach has a good-sized lounge with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV, the lounge leads onto a deck area with outdoor seating and lighting, and there are also a couple of bar leaners. It's a cool place to sit and chill out, eat your dinner, enjoy a drink or a game of cards. A couple of steps down off the deck and the sleepout is right there also with a deck and an outdoor table. There is a BBQ available as well. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need for your stay which includes a dishwasher! The bach also has a dining table and chairs.
There are fans to keep you cool in the summer, and all bedrooms have wardrobes. Outside there is an outdoor shower, which is great for washing off sandy bodies after a day at the beach. The house is close to the local supermarket and Pipers Cafe.

Matarangi has one of the safest beaches on the peninsula, enjoy a day relaxing on the beach, you can swim, body surf, and even throw a fishing line out. You can take a walk or a ride on the walkways and tracks around the village, head to Rings Beach, ride or walk the 8km track, or walk along the Matarangi Beach and Spit track. Matarangi has a beautiful 18-hole golf course with club rooms and a restaurant. Every Saturday there is a village market take a wander through and buy some local produce and chat with the locals; the market is located near the 4 Square Supermarket.
