Friendly staff, nice & quiet Riad
The Riad was clean and quiet and the staff couldn't have done more to help. Very friendly and helpful. They managed to negotiate a discount on the advertised cost of a couple of excursions for us.
The location of the Riad in the Medina makes it rather difficult to locate and was a good 30 min walk from the main square. However, it was a great opportunity to explore the maze of passages and alleys on the way to and from the Riad. A local had to help us find our way back the first night (you will find everyone very helpful) and then we managed on our own after that - apart from one night when a wrong turn took us in a completely different area. But that's half the fun.
Breakfast was simple but good. You can request it at any time you think you'll be ready for it. There's a small roof terrace which is great for sitting out with a bottle of wine and watching the sun go down.
