Marblehead Hotels with Parking

Location inside of Cedar Point was great! The hotel itself was fine. However, I am not sure we would ever stay again. We got there early on day one, well prior to check-in. Had to wait 1/2 hr in line to get to the desk. Obviously our room was not ready but we were able to get checked in and get out park tickets. They told us they would text us when our rooms were ready. Went to the park for a couple of hours and at 3:30p, still no text. So, we get back in line, waited another 1/2 hr, only to find out that our rooms were still not ready! Check-in time is 4p and it was 4p! Went back in to the park and received a text that our room was ready, 15 minutes later! We went back to the hotel and now the line to check in was even longer, probably a 45 minute wait! Moral of the story is that the hotel is fine but clearly their check-in process is flawed. Even though we went through the process to sign everything and put down the security deposit in the morning, we still had to wait in that line just to get our room keys. The line remained long in to the night, hearing complaints from many other guests. Clearly it’s a problem they need to rectify.

Really nice hotel, exceeded my expectations and very close to Cedar Point. Make sure if going to the park to ask for an early entry ticket as the guy on the desk didn’t mention this until I asked if it was available

The property was listed as pet friendly on Expedia, which was the primary reason I booked it. Pets not allowed. Expedia contacted the property manager regarding the discrepancy, and despite my providing screenshots clearly showing the property advertised as pet friendly, the refund request was denied. This was extremely disappointing customer service, especially given that this was a mid-week, off-season reservation with very low likelihood that the room would have otherwise been occupied. At a minimum, a courtesy refund or room credit would have been a reasonable and customer-focused resolution in light of the inaccurate listing information.

This hotel is situated in a great location. They are within good walking to the pier. There's some shopping and a couple restaurants within walking distance. The staff was friendly. When I got to my room the door was already open, but I think they had just got done cleaning it. The room is spacious. The bed seemed huge which was nice. Fridge was clean. The only thing that dampened the stay was the shower. I didn't realize until I was fully in the shower that there was mold. Consequently that was the shortest shower I've taken. If it wasn't for the mold, this room would've been a good stay.

Great location you get early entry because it’s an actual cedar point resort and the pool is really cool too.
