Ocean view-Yes/"Beachfront"-No! Great if you love traffic noise all day and all night.

We spent a seven weeks in this apartment-there were some things we liked and many we did not. The view is very good; the layout of the apartment is good, the kitchen is good and the building itself is good. Upon arrival, we were CRUSHED to discover that the apartment is impossible to be labeled "beachfront", not unless beachfront means having a pedestrian trail; large undeveloped open area; a road; two rows of condos and the busiest four-lane highway in all of southern Spain with heavy nonstop traffic noise from cars, trucks, buses, motor bikes, scooters, all slowing down/speeding up from a roundabout......All Day/All Night-That is what is between this apartment and "beachfront". We used a noise machine of beach waves to try to cancel out the endless noise so we could sleep. No honest person could ever call this "beachfront". We did contact the agent about our disappointment and she worked through some options for leaving, but the alternative choices didn't seem to be any better with all things considered. Overall, it was a very poor beginning to what we had hoped was going to be an amazing Costa del Sol experience. The apartment is also located far away from services/entertainment. At night, we closed ourselves in, trying to keep out the noise, and watched television--until the television quit working on 14 December. We informed the agent but after WEEKS of waiting, and several reminders, it was not replaced by the time we left on 09 January.
