First our room was on the 4th Floor with no passenger elevator service. They did take my bags up on their. Freight elevator, but I had to fetch the bags off that elevator myself. The Aircon and hot water were the only thing that was satisfactory. The TV did not work unless I tightened the coax cable that was loose going into the wall. The bathroom sink was plugged up. Luckily, the overflow drain worked else the floor would have been a small flood zone because taking a shower meant everything in the bathroom got flooded or wet. There was also a floor tile by the entrance to the bathroom that protested any time it was stepped on. My travel mate did say the roof deck was great with a wonderful view. I did not venture there as I was recovering from the 4th floor walkup. Never again will I consider Alicia Apartments even for the one night we stayed there.

The pictures of the property on Expedia's site are misleading as is the name. It is not an Apartment, but a 3 storey building. Also, it's located in a slum with streets so narrow that Taxi Driver's were very reluctant to go to it. That being said, the staff are very helpful and accomodating

The rooms are small but very clean. Heated shower, ac, free wifi and privacy. They have a generator in case they loose power during a storm. I would definitely stay there again.

The shuttle drivers were great and prompt. That was the best part of our stay. We felt we were mislead by the description and pictures of the property. We chose to stay here because of its proximity to the airport, free shuttle, and free breakfast. When we got to the property, we were told the shuttle was only free one way and that our room didn’t include a free breakfast. The online pictures did not match reality.The shower had no curtain and water splashed on the toilet. The room rate was reasonable, but we would not stay there again.

Alicia Apartments was great! Very clean and had everything you need. The manager Rico was so lovely and even went out of his way to not only accommodate me, but also greeted me with some delicious home made food and cake, as I arrived very hungry and wasn’t sure where to get food from. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I recommend the place 100% and will definitely stay there again on my next visit. Super close to the airport, only a 5 mins drive and they provide a shuttle service, even though, I had to leave super early at 4am, they still gave me a ride to the airport. KFC is a walking distance too and the area is totally safe and there are a couple of local corner shops where you can grab some beer, or any essentials. Totally recommend the place!

We were disappointed with the service we received during our stay at Alicia Apartment. I booked this apartment in August 2024 because they advertised for complimentary breakfast and free shuttle drop-off to the airport. We didn’t get any complimentary that they advertised. The place is not a Good place. We wanted to stay there for one night and then go to the airport the next day.

Expedia advertises free shuttle however when you check in at the desk there is literally prices for the shuttle (differing depending on terminal). Our first floor room was crawling with ants and the bed feels like it’s going to break when you sit on it. I was kept awake between 12:30am and 05:00 from so many kids who have got into the building and were running, jumping, shouting ALL night. Knocking on our door too. I heard the occasional adult and also key cards being used in the early hours by them?! It’s in a really run down area so I think the kids have come in from outside. I was honestly too scared to go to sleep incase they got into the room!!
