Honestly the best boutique hotel experience we’ve ever had. The US needs to take some pointers from Locke. We’ll be staying with them in other cities for sure. Kieren and the other hosts were super helpful. The place was immaculate and the coffee and food on premise were world class.

Everything about the whitworth was amazing. It’s central to local transport, restaurants and cafes, and a bunch of sights (if you’re looking for things to do). They helped me get my luggage after it was delayed by the airport. Super clean, wonderful staff and restaurant, and they even secured our bags during the day until our next evening flight. Will be my go to when I travel to Manchester.

Fantastic stay in the city

Really fantastic stay - 5/10 min walk from Oxford Street and Piccadily. Decor of the bar / hotel / room was beautiful. Nice to have a little kitchen with a kettle etc. Really lovely staff - thank you for the breakfast recommendations! Great price too for a two night stay.

Manchester family trip

We loved our time at Whitworth Locke. The location was very convenient but outside of the more bustling parts of the city. We stayed with our three young sons and having the option to stay in a two bedroom unit was fantastic! The amenities were great and the staff was very helpful.

A wonderful stay, with a few squeaky floors.

I thought the place was amazing, much more spacious that I had imagined and the split level flooring for the kitchenette/living space was so nice! I’ll admit the shower was probably the best part though! The only fault I could give would be the squeaky flooring, which made getting up and going to the toilet during the night almost impossible…
