Definitely a budget hotel

Good points: I did actually get a decent night's sleep. Bed was comfy enough. Bad points: While it's walking distance from the city centre I certainly wouldn't recommend walking. It's in the middle of a ropey council estate. Blackout curtains aren't great so gets pretty light in the morning. Same with soundproofing and is on a busy road so can hear cars passing throughout the night. Shower keeps cutting out and bursting back into life and alternates between red hot and freezing cold. HUGE toenail on the carpet that I didn't order.

We liked the standard of the hotel. Bar staff could be more attentive. The price of a pint of beer went up while we were there. The price of the special offer went up from £2.25 to £4.50, as they claimed they had changed the barrel. Overall the prices were very reasonable and would go again

Good location, within walking distance of COOP Live(45mins) and near tram stop. Well apportioned rooms, generous breakfast which could have been hotter, staff friendly and informative, no drink making facilities in rooms, machine in foyer

It was very clean, found twin beds a tad narrow and I’m not a large person, also found mattress and pillow a little hard but I’m sure that really depends on what you’re used to. The staff were super, friendly and very helpful. I hadn’t realised there was food available outside of breakfast and would have had some if time allowed. The breakfast looked fantastic but unfortunately a tight budget negated having one. We were staying one night for an event at O2 Live. Would consider staying there again.

Great hotel

We stayed here so that we could attend a concert at the new Coop Arena and it was so easy to navigate Manchester’s tram network from here. Parking was plentiful and the walking distance to the tram stop was easy, even in heels 👠 The breakfast offer was good and staff were friendly and helpful. An ideal place to stay for a night out in Manchester 👍 There’s no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms but the coffee machines (including syrups, hot chocolates, fresh milk etc.) are free to use as much as you like in reception!

Was staying here with my Granddaughter for A concert near by.Had an issue with my booking which the two nice Gentleman on reception resolved .My only issue was No tea/Coffee making facilities in your room .this is conveyed to you and you can get Tea and coffee from machines in reception.The cooked breakfast wasn’t of good quality.bacon over cooked and sausages cheap quality.No mushrooms or fried tomatoes.But the rest of the breakfast eg Cereals, waffles, pastries and selections of fruit was good.

Dissappointed

The room was clean and suitable. I think having to pay for parking was unfair and not stated. I was very dissappointed there was no drink facilities in the room like a kettle. And having to walk downstairs to get a cup of tea was bad, espicually when you are visually impaired and have problems with your knee's. This was also not stated, as I would not have booked here other wise.

Never stay again

I booked 2 x queen rooms only to be told when I arrived that only singles were left. Not sure how that works out. Don’t say on hotels.com that it’s £10 to park until you book. The food took nearly an hour to arrive. And wasn’t work the money. Smallest flavourless , deep fried half chicken. So dry. Horrible. Chips were the same horrible and bland. Nothing at all to to around this hotel. Picture attached.
