Overall, it is a good hotel in the convenient location. But there were two things which i believe are unacceptable in the hotel of that category:
- first of all, when did those places decided to remove the mini bar from the room? The fridge is there, it is on - but there is nothing in it. Do they really think that little of the guests?
- 45 minute wait for the food in the restaurant is a bit excessive, is it not?.
Great stay, great location. Breakfast was not the best, food had been stood there for ages, was dry and swimming in grease. Other than that great accommodations
The room was run down and needs decorating. It had only one small floor to ceiling window in the corner.We paid a lot for this room as we were at a concert in town and I at least expected it to be clean. The walls and paint were all scuffed and peeling off. The shower head was covered in what looked like black mould and limescale so i didnt want to use it, the towels rough and old. The staff on reception were very friendly and efficient. They are sadly let down by the rest of the hotel.
Good location, walking distance to Picadilly station. Staff very friendly. We were a little disappointed that door didn’t have a deadbolt.
Also our A/C didn’t work until the 6th day of 7 day stay, after we saw a maintenance guy in the hallway and mentioned there was something wrong. We called front desk the 1st day and they said the main switch had to be turned on and it was working fine. We were left a note in the room stating problem with airflow, and to turn on manually. Would have been nice if they had sent him up earlier instead of us finding him in another room and asking him to take a look as there were some sleepless nights due to the heat.
Great stay at this hotel not our first or our last brilliant staff clean and tidy good location for the CO-OP LIVE VENUE . Great breakfast sets you up for the day

The room was on the small side but clean and adequate for a couple of nights but not for longer stays
What a lovely hotel, check-in was smooth and quick - it was busy but there were plenty of staff to cover. Room is so lovely - very spacious and decorated well. Fridge, safe, iron & ironing board all at hand and the toiletries in the bathroom smell lovely.
We had a few issues on check in due to a new system that reception were fighting with which caused long delays.
The girls on reception did a great job dealing with frustrated customers.
Otherwise everything else was good.
Check in was great, the lobby is lovely and clean and bright and the staff were lovely.
The room on first glance was amazing it’s huge with a lovely view, however it could do with a deep clean, the bedding was clean but the room looked tired, splashes up walls and units, handles missing, peeling units. Such a shame really.
There were a couple of incidents on the evening one of which was totally out of the hotel’s control but the evening staff weren’t proactive at all.
We had an issue with the lift which the evening staff didn’t take seriously either and it really let the hotel down as the staff on the day shift were completely different, really helpful and sympathetic.
The breakfast was what you’d expect from a buffet, plenty of choice and restaurant was clean.
It’s a shame that we were let down by the evening staff.

Lovely hotel, great location for Etihad stadium and coop live. Both tram service and walkable. Even on an evening the walking route is well lite and feels safe. Hotel was very busy due to an event so had to wait to check in but there were option to self check in. Room comfortable and clean. Not a lot of places near to eat had to walk 15 mins to find a variety of places to eat. Coffee shop across the road and walkable to Manchester Piccadilly station. The only down side was the price. It had been increased due to the event but I guess that’s the price you pay for the location.
