Excellent hotel apart from the bed.

Plenty of staff at the check in desk which made the whole process of checking in super quick. We were allocated room 225 which was spotlessly clean, although the TV didn't have any reception so could only be used when mirroring a smart device to it. The bar as you would expect is expensive, it is an airport hotel after all. Back in our room the bed wasnt the best and had obviously been well used to the point that the mattress just sank as you laid on it, no suuport and not ideal, although some guests my not have an issue with this, it did not result in a comfortable nights sleep ahead of a long flight. Again this might have been unique to our room. Having stayed here numerous times prior, this was the first time i had experience this issue.

Stay after late flight

Overnight stay after late flight Great room and facilities for myself, daughter and grandson to allow us to rest before travelling home the next day Travelled back from the station to Manchester picadilly for very modest cost so that we had good range of options for dining. Hotel limited range of meals for children and a very bad experience with them previously in relation to dining had put me off dining there again. Love sitting in the bar area having a drink however. We pud extra for breakfast following our stay which is excellent
