Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. There is No Air Conditioning in rooms. You are told to open the windows and put a wet towel on your forehead. It was a hot night. As I was on the ground floor on the parking lot, I could not leave my windows open. Besides that, the bed was comfortable and the suite had a full kitchen. And many other rooms had lovely views, as far as I could tell. I would book early and request upper rooms with views

I booked on Expedia but the unit we got was totally different from what the photos showed. I asked if I can be given the renovated studio I booked but the answer was that it was not available anymore (!). Instead, I was offered another dated unit. This is a property which falsely advertises the photos. The unit was clean but dated. Old furniture and cabinets worn out. Also, beware there is no AC and it gets hot in the rooms. We slept with windows open. Surrounding area is beautiful. There is a free tram into town.

Lovely property and staff. There is no air conditioning which is slightly uncomfortable at night if you like it nice and cool. However, the property is nice enough that I’d stay there again despite no air conditioning.
