Located in Malakal Island, Palau Royal Resort is on the waterfront, within a 15-minute walk of Rock Islands Southern Lagoon and Long Island Park.
The location was walkable to some restaurants but don't expect to snorkel right there. The small lagoon wasn't much and there is too much boat traffic outside the buoy lines. The Blue Marlin dive shop was great though.

Nice hotel with very helpful staff in a nice location. Quiet room. However, wifi is very weak and kitchen was missing a lot of essential items (like eggs, tomato, lettuce etc)
