Exceeded our expectations! From the easy check-in to the incredible breakfasts, the old-school pool and hanging garden, and an unexpected herd of deer running through the property, this was one of the most relaxing and tranquil escapes we’ve experienced. The town of Makawao gave us tasty afternoon meals (Satori!) and the beautiful mountain area provided plenty of scenic driving. Only advice I’d give is to plan to enjoy the space while you’re staying, as it would be a shame to not settle in. Mahalo Shannan and Josh and Aloha!

Tucked away Getaway

We chose this location for easier and faster access to Haleakala. It's a very private and beautiful location. We went to Haleakala for sunset, checked in at 9pm, then got up at 3am for sunrise at the crater. As soon as we returned to our suite I came down with a cold so I was in the room for 2 days. It was very comfortable and the manager, Erin, was very helpful to me and my husband. I got to see the beautiful views and scenery as we were checking out. My husband was able to get out a little more and he enjoyed it thoroughly. We would not hesitate to stay again. Very luxurious!
