Great hotel but poor street access

Everything was great. My only complaint is that there is no place in front for cars to drop you off or pick you up. You have to walk about 4 blocks. The hotel staff are not aware of this but it happened to us twice.

I booked this hotel after our arrival to Madrid and the main reason was the review I read here. I noticed a consensus with how great services is at this hotel. Those reviews were right. The service staff at this hotel is spectacular. The security folks, receptionists, pool lifeguard, rooftop bartenders. Awesome! I also read that reviews stating that they should play music at the rooftop and I agree with that as well. I will return to this hotel.

Excellent Hotel

We booked two rooms for 4 people and they were great. Very clean with good adequate wardrobe space. The staff would come by regularly to clean and replace water( access to free drinking water is a plus in Europe!) The roof top bar service was great - we walked in once just before closing and the bar tender made us quick drinks and allowed us to enjoy the views for an extra 15 mins after closing. Conveniently located in central Madrid to lots of attractions - Royal Palace, Prado Museum, Mercado de San Miguel were all a 10 to 20 mins walk. The Sol Metro Station is just down the street from the rear entrance you prefer that. We didn’t eat at the onsite restaurant, but they have it and room service if needed. Overall a great experience. We would stay here again if we visited Madrid again.

Loved the hotel, location, rooftop patio and pool. Excellent location and very central, staff were friendly and rooms were nice. Only recommendation we have is to have music on the rooftop and at the pool. Would have made this hotel perfect. Besides that we loved everything and the hotel was very unique. Rooms were nice and modern and comfortable bedsn

Great location - awkward room design

UMusic Hotel is in an excellent location with amazing service. However, the room design offered very little privacy between the bedroom and bathroom. Only a two-way mirror divides the two spaces, with frosted glass shower and toilet partitions. It's an ok space for a couple but would not be appropriate for others traveling together who want some modesty.

Location is especially great for tourists. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel and amenities are lovely and the hotel design is great except for one place - the actual room. The hotel room has been designed to look good but is far from practical for travellers if there is more than one person in the room or if you have a large suitcase. There is not a separate bathroom (to use at night, the room lights also turn on, there is a large tub at the entrance so not at all private, there is a vanity with a tap that is too high and splashes water everywhere and little vanity space for guests. The shower has great water pressure but it’s small and hard to have conditioner stay on your hair, or try to shave in there. There are limited spaces to put things and the “mini bar” takes up half the desk space.

Highly recommend UMusic Madrid!

All the personnel at UMusic Madrid were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The bed was comfortable and the shower/tub area was awesome! The hotel venue was having a ballet one night where everyone was dressed so fancy. We enjoyed a lovely sunset from the rooftop bar that had an excellent liquor selection. Highly recommend UMusic Madrid!

This was an absolute gem of a hotel. The service at the front desk was exemplary. They provided so many great instructions and recommendations I never needed to worry about planning. The grounds were stunning, and the amenities were top tier. This hotel felt like a luxury hotel at a good price and was in a perfect area to walk everywhere.
